tlcglasgow aim to set standards and values to apply throughout our club nights at every level. These are your nights and should be enjoyed by everyone, equally. Our commitment is to confront and eliminate discrimination whether by reason of sex, sexual orientation, race nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability.

Equality of opportunity at tlcglasgow means that in all our activities we will not discriminate or in any way treat anyone less favourably, on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability.

tlcglasgow will not tolerate racist, sectarian, sexual or bigoted harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, and will work to ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.

Each employee is clearly made aware that tlcglasgow is opposed to racism, sectarianism, bigotry and discrimination in any form.

OUR TOP TEN QUESTIONS ASKED ~ TLCGLASGOW

Every Week we are asking some re-occurring question so we thought we would address them for ya!

Q1. WHY ARE WE NOT FREE ENTRY?
A1. Unfortunately, as tlcglasgow is an independent run company we are un-able to re-coup any loss made midweek @ the weekends unlike other city venues, and should we not charge then as promoter's we would not be able to pay any staff costs. If we COULD do free then I’m sure we would. (But that old adage - Nothing in Life is really FREE!)

Q2. WHY ARE OUR DRINK'S PRICE'S NOT SET AT £1?
A2. Again as with the above because we are independent promoter's we do not operate the bars within the venue's we are at, we can only negotiate bar price's with a venue, but in saying that we try our upmost to ensure the lowest price's that we possibly can, we are currently looking into the tunnel bar price's.

Q3. WHY DO WE NOT HAVE ANY CURRENT LIVE P.A'S?
A3. To be perfectly honest, we have been unable to secure any good live act's to suit our nights without paying silly money for an act to sing 1 song and 1 song only which in turn force us to increase our door price for that night.

Q4. WHERE CAN WE TLCGLASGOW PR’S?
A4. Our PR Team's visit ALL Gay Venues within the city center & also various shops throughout the city. (Exception ~ delmonica's/polo on Wednesdays, however can be found outside those venue's)

Q5. WHY DO WE NOT PLAY VERY MUCH HOUSE OR DANCE?
A5. Our Mondays in Byblos are very much house orientated nights & we have just recently opened ROOM2 within the tunnel so that we can allocate/devote a full room to house & dance music, to bring you some of Glasgow's home-grown talent & off-course your resident DJ ~ DJ FIONA (fhq)

Q6. WHY ARE THE BAR'S IN THE TUNNEL SO BUSY?
A6. Unfortunately, we can only fit so many bodies behind the bars, but with opening ROOM2 we shall be adding an extra bar, so now you have 3 serviced bars within the tunnel.

Q7. WHY ARE THE TOILETS IN THE TUNNEL NOT SO NICE?
A7. Very fair point, however, both the girls and boys toilets have now been extensively refitted and maintained by toilet attendants throughout the night. (Oh and the girlies even a double cubicle to share, lol, very sex in the city!)

Q8. WHY DO I NEVER HEAR THE SONGS THAT I WANT TO HEAR?
A8. The simple answer to that one – just ask the dj or alternatively just fill out a dj request slip and our dj’s will do the best to play the song you wish to hear, but in saying that please guys remember asking for a song does not guarantee that they WILL play it!

Q9. WHERE DO I GO FOR A CIGARETTE?
A9. If you are visiting Byblos then we have an area just to the left of the entrance to Byblos and if you are visiting the tunnel then we have allocated a private closed off smoking area which is accessed via the exit door nearest to the DJ Box which we feel and believe is more suitable rather than standing outside the front of the tunnel, ensuring that the private area is not only safer but also ensures that passer-by’s are unable to verbally or physically be aggressive. Ensuring that Safety is still of paramount importance to tlcglasgow.

Q10. DO WE ALLOW STRAIGHT PEOPLE ACCESS TO TLCGLASGOW NIGHTS?
A10. To be very honest, of-course we do, however all unknown customer’s or large groups are clearly made aware that ALL tlcglasgow operate a “attitude free night” aim at a majority Gay crowd, the basis of our nights are for people that love socialising with friends or even alone in a fun, safe environment. Byblos, Tunnel & Tlcglasgow operate a “zero tolerance” policy towards violence. Please remember clubbing is meant to be FUN!
