Thought I'd let you all know that we received a cheque from the co-op membership fund today for £750.00. So many thanks to them. It will go towards our waistcoats which hopefully we will now be able to get soon.
Thank you also Carla for playing a tune, also Donna and Liam who came with me for support.
See you all wednesday for the tombola
Rebecca
Hi, Its Martin from Theatre Modo. I managed to leave behind your current repertoire/set list when i saw you on Thursday. Can anyone send me a copy of what tunes you have up your sleeves at the moment so we can try to work out how to fit them in. Cheers Martin
PS my e-mail address if it is easier is martin@theatremodo.com
and i was logged on as kieran by the way
well the lighter the better
i think it was sapphire but the more it matches with other parts of the band the better also
but lets just hope we are actually getting the drums
Hi Daniel
That site is fab and our drums are only about £250. I dont know about the Bass though. I can see it being ok for Jim but Sandie had a special one for her as it was lighter. thats the only problem I can see. Unless they just get one Bass and keep the light one we already have. Only a suggestion.
It would be nice to go for the royal blue as I think the Navy wouldnt go with our sticks, see what everyone else thinks. See you thursday.
Becca

so i found this one site which seems to have everything we need and its located in britain
if you have a chance to look at the site
http://www.college-of-piping.co.uk/a...
look and see if you want something else like different tenors (you get these weird 'hosbilt' ones....they look old fashioned but are supposed to be most popular and best sound
and sandy look at the the bass drums......the two white ones are the 'lite series' but if any changes are wanted just post a comment or tell me at practise
