  • From Bill Clinton "Help me get our "One Week, One Million" campaign off to a powerful start?"

    Dear Friend,

Am I enthusiastic about my wife's campaign for president? You bet I am. I know her better than anybody on earth, and she's got the best combination of mind and heart of everybody I've ever known.

All across the country, Hillary is campaigning with the signature wisdom, grace, and humor that make her a great candidate. I know that if we all work hard enough, those same traits will make her an even better president.

You and I know something about waging and winning presidential campaigns.

Winning the White House takes persistence, energy and effort -- not just from the candidate, but from a massive network of grassroots supporters.

Hillary's campaign is off to a great start. And this week, we're going to help take it to another level. Our goal: to demonstrate the range and breadth of Hillary's support by raising one million dollars in grassroots donations in a week's time.

Will you help me get our "One Week, One Million" campaign off to a powerful start?

Look, with Republicans using everything in their arsenal to stop her campaign, Hillary is going to need every one of us to do everything that we can for her.

During eight years in the White House, Hillary and I faced a constant barrage of attacks from Washington Republicans. No insult was off-limits. No tactic was too low. They threw everything they could at us -- but we beat them time and time again.

The attacks on Hillary haven't stopped, and she hasn't stopped winning. You know how they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Well, Hillary is as strong as they come.

Let's make this a week when we demonstrate that her campaign is strong, too. Strong enough to sustain Hillary's run for the presidency through thick and thin. Strong enough to win.

I can't wait to join Hillary on the campaign trail and talk to people about what a great president she's going to be. She is a tireless fighter and a brilliant born leader, and I have no doubt the American people will make her our first woman president.

Over the next week, you'll hear from some other friends and admirers of Hillary. I hope you'll join them in making our One Week, One Million campaign a success. But, most importantly, I hope you'll act right now to get this dramatic display of grassroots support off the ground with a big outpouring for Hillary on the first day.

    Click to donate:

Thank you so much for your support. Hillary and I couldn't do it without you.

    Sincerely,

    Bill Clinton

What do Obama and Osama have in common? They both have friends who carried out terrorist attacks on America. See this ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rxxr9...

Right, things that annoy me, no.1: people talking ass.
Why on earth should I feel ashamed of myself for using my democratic voice to ardently support a candidate, thats democracy, thats how it works regardless of party. This is the party though that took four delegates elected for Hillary Clinton and just gave them to Obama in order to seat the Michigan delegation, really democratic.
Some serious far left cooky suff has been left here, American politics being corrupt and dirty mainly, not factual, American politics is a lot less corrupt than other countries, seriously.
Also, to confirm factual errors here about leaders of the free world, John Howard = not quickly voted out, one of Australias longest serving PMs, served for over 10 years. Tony Blair left office because of backbench revolts and the labour party grassroots demanding a change in leadership.
Despite this, I support Obama for 08 because I dont like McCain, I just dont like some things written about Hil and supporers.

This book exposes Barack Obama as a demogogic puppet candidate who would be calamitous for America and the world...check it out: www.scribd.com/doc/3929459/Obama-The... The book is shocking! A must read for Obama supporters to open their eyes to this megalomaniac fraud.

I also struggle to understand why INEXPERIENCE should have anything to do with it....
...OBAMA was educated at the BEST UNIVERSITY in the world - HARVARD LAW SCHOOL...
SO although Obama has NOT got ties with American Politics - this could be a good thing for our country (considering how CORRUPT AND DIRTY American politics is now)

Oh and yeah, if we actually consider current and former leaders who had the EXPERIENCE before hand, like G Bush, Tony Blair, and John Howard - Leaders of the first world
We will find that they were NOT always BEST 4 THE JOB, BUSH was CRAP, Tony B walked out because of stress and a lack of interest, and John Howard was voted out of the Australian government in just a few years....

The experienced candidate are NOT always BEST and some could bring more HARM then GOOD...
OBAMA offers a new style of leadership, hes honest and loyal, patriotic, and a public speaking LEGEND, hes also a lawer....

    :D

    +VOTE DEMOCRACY THIS YEAR - VOTE OBAMA+

    CAN I JUST SAY.....

...That the lot of you should be ASHAMED....

OBAMA and CLINTON are from the same party for goodness SAKE, so if you don't know what this means - it means that The Clintons and Obamas both want the same CHANGE for America...DEMOCRACY....

...Its UNFORTUNATE for Clinton to loose to Obama BUT I for one think America made the RIGHT choice...

...Clinton lied about her experience, she couldn't manage the financial side of her campaign (so as a RESULT is now millions in debt), she stuck too closly to her husband Bill during her campaign (making Americans feel as though electing her, would mean electing Bill in aswell), and she played DIRTY POLITICS by constantly bringing Obamas race and inexperience into the campaign...

+AMERICA want CHANGE from the Bush and Clinton legacy's - The Clintons are exceptional leaders, BUT their time was over with Bill Clinton+.
..UNITE this party and VOTE OBAMA..B4 Bush's legacy lives on thru Mccain...

I love you sooo much Hillary, and Ireland will forever be in debt to you, to whoever said that below, its so true.
You are a star, its a wonder you got this far, with the liberal media being so against you that you had to go to Bill O'Reilly for a bit of equality, its ridiculous, Obama has been given such an easy ride in the media. Id like to, in particluar point out, Jack Cafferty of CNN as such a waste of space for being so unfathomably pro-Obama and anti-Clinton on everything he has said, he should have left media a long time ago.
Michigan was an utter disgrace! the DNC taking delegates elected by the people to represent you and just giving them over to Obama is unbelievable, the party should change its name over that trick, its so anti-Democratic its almost Republican. The process, nor was the result fair, and I pitty you deeply Hillary.
I know you'll now endorse Obama, as you should, and support his campaign. All the best in the future, Mrs Clinton.

    What an affront to democracy!

The most influential democratic country in the world and they can't even get their own elections in order. I think it's time for the U.S. of A. to modernise and to grasp the concept of "one member, one vote".

Such an indictment has come to pass that the members of the Democratic party's voice was not even heard; instead, elected members members - senators, congressmen and women, were entitled to votes worth well over 1000 times that of each member of the Democrat party.

Democracy? I do not think so, for Hillary Clinton is the real winner of this race.
