Leader wanted for Templeogue Brigins. If anyone knows someone that might be interested, please let us know at templeogueguides@gmail.com.
Templeogue Guides are looking for volunteers to help out at Guide meetings one evening a week. No previous experience required, and training will be provided.
The Guides meet once a week during term-time to do badgework, challenges and other activities. The girls themselves play a large part in planning and running these activities. In addition to this, occasional hikes and camps are organised, usually in conjunction with other companies. These activities are planned subject to the availability of leaders or other adult helpers.
Benefits of being a Guide Leader
* Training is available through the organisation in leadership, first aid, camp skills, training other leaders and more
* Opportunity to register for and complete the Gaisce (the President's Award)
* Experience of working with children/teenagers (particularly useful if you have an interest in teaching or social work)
* The enjoyment of working with the girls!
