RIP baby! | | | Takayasu's Arteritis is..... | | A chronic disease that effects my life in many ways. It is a vacular disease that effects all of my arteries. My arteries narrow and close up. This is not due to plaque. I do not a have a pulse or blood pressure in my left arm. My circulation in my entire body is not good. I have had 2 sets of triple bypass surgery, angioplasty, many strokes, and a heart attack. If I am too physical, my left side always steals from my right side and keeps me in risk of having additional strokes. Some of my doctors did not expect me to live past the age of 30. I am now 35 and have been blessed to still be here on Earth. I focus on the things I can do and don't worry about the things I cannot do. This was posted to let the folks know and be aware of this disease. More importantly, to let people know HE is in control. | |
