I'm Olly Clapp

I'm an amatuer DJ and producer, learning the trade in the hardcore and trance areas of sound.
Some of you may know or remember me as Acid Fluxx Bass, though those days are long gone.
For all, I hope 2009 is a lucky year. - This Is A Journey Into Sound:

- I'm an accomplished swimmer, captain of Halstead A Swimming Club.
A regular for the 100m Freestyle event in competitions, in 2008 I won the open boys gold in the Halstead Club Champs. The previos year, I won Silver in the 15-16 age group. - Inspired Into Aspiring

Kev Willow ( 17 year old hardcore producer. taught me all that i know)
Christopher Howell (aka Luna-C. Talks sense. Makes music I can only dream of making)
Tony Colman (aka London Elektricity. Makes great D&B and makes small names future stars)
Rob Haigh (aka Omni Trio. Experiments and makes daring new music. An invisionist who makes things happen)
I love all music but particularly my UK Hardcore, Trance, Gabber, D&B.
I think of it as something to escape to at the Weekend as 'my own world'. Something no one else can invade or change.
I'm influenced mostly by Luna-C. Chris as a youngster sucked at music (13% in tests) but did what he did out of a hobby. He mixed and later remixed showing theres no foundation in music needed to be talented. I want to follow the same trend. - R.I.P Chris
- I knew him since 1999 wen we both moved to Meadow View. We were neighbours and always saw each other almost daily. We been through alot, we stuck 2 geva. then you moved to mapelstead and we hardly eva saw each other but we stayed m8s. One night, however, he got killed in a car accident.
I remember annoying Tank and titch and arguments with wanky wally and ann. I remember the mad one who almost ran us over(the bloke where hayley and rupart are now). I remember me being hit by a Mini Cooper - I remember land rover discovery window lol. I remember the camp thing we did in ur garden. I remember the times we played halo or the times we watched eurovision. I remember the Pokemon battles we had as kids. I remember the footy we played in my garden. I remember the sleep overs, the Boom headshots, the meadow the showin off on our bikes.. I remember so much when u were here. I remember takin u down to adventure Island wen we were like 12 - R.I.P Chris cont.

Bonkers - The Original Hardcore (11th May 2009)
Bonkers – The Original Hardcore is the new 3CD hardcore album from AATW / UMTV.
Bonkers – the newly acquired hardcore brand by AATW and UMTV is a hardcore institution – previously reaching it’s 17th album before this new TV advertised album which is set to take the charts
Hardcore is flying – this is seen by the recent success of Scooter, Darren Styles and Ultrabeat not forgetting the other hardcore compilation albums currently on the scene including Hardcore Til I Die & Clubland Xtreme Hardcore 4. We have seen tremendous success in the Hardcore scene and Bonkers will replicate this. The track listing will feature acts such as Scooter, Styles & Breeze, Dougal & Gammer, Flip & Fill, Darren Styles, Hixxy and LMC.
The difference between this and other Hardcore albums is that this is Bonkers! Bonkers is a widely recognised brand with a huge loyal following and this TV album will take that brand to the next level. The new Bonkers album will be the first of its kind establishing on TV the Bonkers brand and setting up the series for more instalments.
The album features the old identity of the Bonkers brand – retaining the original (but now super-rendered) logo and the original DJs as they are the biggest names in the Hardccore scene today – Hixxy, Sharkey and Unknown but incorporates new elements with the bright sleeve and brand new track listing featuring the biggest names around.
The album will be supported by a heavy TV marketing campaign, support across all the terrestrial channels and Sky – will also be running a Bauer promotion featuring the album on channels such as 4music & Smash Hits – we will also have the full support of Clubland TV- week one spend will be 60K+. We will also be running massive online campaigns across all the UMG, AATW & Clubland sites – also specifically targeting sites such as Hardcore Til I Die and Don’t Stay In.
This album will be released on the 11th May.
BONKERS – THE NEXT GENERATION!

The best selling series has been taken over by AATW since Resist filed for chapter 11 some time ago. Whilst AATW are maintaining the cartoonish logo, the cartoons are being ditched and the series is being restarted effectively overwriting the entire bonkers history.
The AATW influenced hardcore features scooter, E-type and even robyn as commercial hardcore further tightens it's grip. Even sharkey who is uniformly freeform has subdued to remixes of scooter. Nonetheless it is his mix thats most promising as he reveals unheard tunes and lots of new stuff.
Unknown follows the comercial trend with old and new alike such as Bass X & Scott Brown - Pilgrim mixed in with Breeze & Styles - Amigos. It has, understandably attracted wide critisism. As has Hixxy's mix, which consists of all the older raver baby tracks such as 'c.o.n' and 'the theme'. People can't understand why they'd pay money for tracks they've heard on past bonkers cd's.
To conclude, The bonkers cd is expected to be a flop, though it contains mild promise.0 Comments 72 days
