Glaschu Gaels GFC Tenth Anniversary Dinner Dance

The Annual Glaschu Gaels Club Dinner Dance will be held on Sat 7th March 2009. It will be held in the Thistle Hotel on Cambridge Street, with a ceili after the dinner.

Its also the clubs' tenth anniversary and we are urging all members to make the effort to make this our biggest and best dinner dance ever!

We are also inviting all ex-players and officials of the Gaels to come along for the weekend and hopefully meet up with a few familiar faces!

Tickets are priced at £30 and will be available from club committee members.

Okay, the plan is to scoop up funds in the area around Celtic Park before and after the match against Hamilton this upcoming Saturday, October 4th. Its a 3 o'clock kickoff so we'll be meeting at Central Station for 12 to head down there. Any volunteers are really appreciated, and I'm sure the banter will be terrific anyhow! Cheers girls!

Awrite girls, I'm getting together a fundraiser for us lads cause we're pure skint like. If we can raise a good amount I'm going to be sawing off my trademark locks. Anyhow, I was wondering if any of yourselves would be up for helping us out - probably going to be fundraising down uni avenue one or two days during a week and then targetting the fans at Celtic park before a game. I reckon people would be more willing to part with their brew money at the request of yourselves rather than us ugly buggers, so any help would be really appreciated! Hi girls,

Club events have been lined up for August 2008. We urge all members to take note of these events and their dates and ensure their attendance at these functions.

Friday 1st August - Club quiz night to be held in the Arlington. £2 per person, no limit to numbers in teams and prizes will be announced on the night. We urge all members to turn out for what has been a successful club social night in the past.

Saturday 30th August - Club race night to be held in PJ Champs. More details and prizes to be announced. All members will be emailed this week an A4 poster which they are requested to advertise in staff rooms, etc. Sponsor sheets will be given out to club members within the next seven days also. Members are reminded about the success of last years' event - the most successful fundraising event that the club has held in many years. We want this one to be even bigger and we urge all members to assist in any way they can.
