MOTION NIGHTCLUB opened its doors on the 21st April 2007 under new managemant from the venue formaly known as Soho and Blue before that.
Motion Nightclub adopted the policy of entertainment based value for money was the way forward so we decided to bring one or two world class DJ's and entertainment to Inverness as you can see in the list below.

Ive been Djing at this venue since the Blu with Peter, thats where I met Ali and i continued to come up . Ive called it the maddest Friday night in Scotland in the past and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure to be involved with the club especially the last night . Saturday had that special atmosphere that reminded me of the early Rave days - when every party was enjoyed to the full because know one knew how long it all would last.
Everyone dancing on the bar, the foam soake floor, round the sides and on the stage singing away will be the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Inverness to me now !
Big up to Ali, Ross and everyone at MOTION.

I've been playing at this club (Motion, formally Blue, Inverness) for the past 10 years and seen many changes. The main one from a guy called Ali. I remember this enthusiastic chap working behind the bar and collecting glasses. Then my next trip he had become the bar manager. A few years later he was the general manager until a couple of years ago he became head of promotions. This time he sat me down to tell me the news of his latest venture; he had actually bought the lease of the club!! It's been amazing to watch his career rocket over the years and he is only 26 years old, what an achievement. | |

why is it closed ?? I live in Wedgie land i remeber this club as Blue to be honest used to go Fri & Sat without fail!!! was a very special place. fondest memory was first time The judge came the plce was rocking!!
