BEBO AND MUSIC NATION ANNOUNCE WINNER OF 'BEBO ONSTAGE'

March 13, 2008

Trustfall Chosen to Receive a Record Deal with Original Signal/Epic

The Theory of Funkativity Wins Fan Vote and Cash Prize

Bebo (www.Bebo.com) and Music Nation (www.MusicNation.com) today announced the winner of Bebo OnStage (http://bebo.musicnation.com/), an online competition designed to identify and empower new artists. Over 1,000 bands entered and Music Nation, Original Signal, Epic, and Bebo staffers selected the band Trustfall to win a joint record deal with Original Signal/Epic Records.

In addition to offering artists the chance to win a record deal and a cash prize, Bebo OnStage also gave artists exposure to the combined power of both Bebo's highly engaged community of more than 40 million members worldwide and Music Nation's active and creative community of bands and music fans.

"It's exciting for Bebo to be able to give emerging artists the opportunity and tools they need to reach a global audience, build a strong fan base, and really interact with their fans - and then on top of it, work with Music Nation to offer a recording contract to a group of talented musicians like Trustfall," said Angel Gambino, VP of Music and Content for Bebo.

Trustfall (http://trustfall.musicnation.com/), from Silver Spring, MD, is a three-piece rock band fronted by 18 year-old brothers Max and Spencer Ernst. The brothers, playing in bands since the age of ten, now regularly perform with the band at Washington, DC-area venues to sold-out crowds. Trustfall has also had songs featured on TV shows such as 'Cain' as well as on MTV and ESPN, among others.

"Trustfall are a young band that we see great potential in and they've already accomplished a lot," said Daniel Klaus, Music Nation CEO. "We look forward to developing them in partnership with Epic and to launching their career with the help of Bebo's powerful social media network."

While tastemakers from Music Nation, Original Signal, Epic, and Bebo chose Trustfall as the grand prize winner, the Music Nation and Bebo communities voted on Music Nation's head-to-head player to decide which artist would receive the cash prize. Fan ratings moved The Theory of Funkativity (http://theoryoffunk.musicnation.com/), from San Diego, CA, to the top of the charts, where they stayed to emerge as the winner.
