The fashion show, now in its 22nd year, has grown to encompass a cast of over 200 student organisers, models and dancers who will put on a professional show before an audience of 5,500 in RDS Simmonscourt on 29th February 2008. This year Bebo has gotten involved to help make its Irish community of over 1 million aware of this homegrown fashion event.

The lucky band will get the chance to play two tracks to accompany the models while they are taking to the catwalk. On top of this great opportunity, the chosen band will gain amazing exposure by being played on Spin 103.8, one of Dublin's best known radio stations.

Bebo now boasts more than 1 million artists, and a user base of more than 40 million members worldwide. Beboers in Ireland spend more than 37 minutes on the site per day, more time than on any other socal network, making it the ideal place for atrists to interact with and engage fans.

Show producer, Sheila Campbell welcomes Bebo's support and involvement saying, "As a showcase of some of Ireland's emerging youth talent - in fashion, dance and now live music - the UCD Fashion Show is delighted, with Bebo's support, to introduce this new element in the Show's line-up".

Angel Gambino, VP Music, Bebo said: "Since Bebo's launch in 2005 it has become Ireland's number 1 social media network, so we're very pleased that we can be a part of this prestigious event at one of Dublin's top venues, and be involved in uncovering what undiscovered music talent Ireland has to offer."
