Photos from Depositions Hearing. (14 zdjęć)
Today has been the first day of depositions in the so called "Operation Eight" trial. This morning around 30 people gathered outside the Auckland district court with banners and placards to express their solidarity with those arrested in last years terror raids. Depositions is likely to last for a few weeks and I understand that court has involved all the usual bullshit and muckaround that we all know and expect from our so called justice system.

Anti Terror Raids Rally - 30/8/2008 (20 zdjęć)
On a cold and miserable day, the cries of "No More Police State!" echoed through Central Auckland's Queen Street as over 200 Maori, trade unionists and left wingers joined a rally to defend the Urewewa 20, and remember the State Terror Raids of October 15th last year. The movement has previously been successful in forcing the State to drop the charges under the Terrorism Suppression Act, and now begins the campaign to drop all charges against the accused. The vocal launch of the campaign today brought many cheers and claps of support from Saturday shoppers on CBD streets, and signals the fact that the upcoming trials will be fought with a strident political campaign on the streets, and will unite people from many of Aotearoa's causes and communities. There were banners and contingents from Tuhoe, Unite, Socialist Aotearoa, the Workers Party, and Auckland's Anarcha-Feminist collective, with individuals from the NDU, Green Party and Maoridom.

Kia Maumahara: October 15th - 2007 (8 zdjęć)
14th October 2008 I was asked this morning if I knew who did some unathourised work ok defacing property and I said NO!!!. I then left the marae not long after to investigate what all the fuss was about and when I finally found the areas that were defaced by some sort of spray paint ........ I had a god laugh because I knew once the owners find out about it they wont be very happy.

Rob Gilchrist was outed as a police informant (1 zdjęcie)
Activists claim a man outed as a police spy encouraged them to do illegal acts while secretly working as an informant for the police. Former Greenpeace Rob Gilchrist was outed as a police informant by investigative journalists Nicky Hager and Anthony Hubbard in this weekend's Sunday Star Times. Activist Valerie Morse says she was one of the people Mr Gilchrist tried to persuade to commit illegal acts.

Terror in Our Midst? (2 zdjęcia)
Terror in Our Midst? Searching for Terror in Aotearoa New Zealand On 15 of October 2007, three hundred police officers dressed in full riot gear, including balaclavas and sunglasses, raided the township of Ruatoki which lies at the northern end of the Ureweras. By the end of the day, 17 people were reported as arrested; four from Wellington, six in Auckland, one in Palmerston North, one in Hamilton and five in the Bay of Plenty area. Tuhoe Freedom Fighters (19 zdjęć)
On Friday 27th Feb 2009 in Taneatua the heart of Tuhoe country, there was a demonstration that most probably no one heard of. There is a Media Blackout op going on in New Zealand, where the illegal government and their puppets control the media, and the truth never gets told. The proud Tuhoe have made their stand and draw the line. The media, who very selectively report a bit here and there, would like us to believe these people are terrorists. The fact is, it is not working, we know the Tuhoe are not terrorists, and the real crime is committed in the name of the CROWN. Well, the CROWN is nothing more than a Corporation registered on the SEC. The Tuhoe, are the People of the Land, in the flesh and right there and now. Where is the CROWN? only on a piece of paper. Nowhere in the here and now. Pictures and artical by: Peter Ross: Valentine: http://www.nzfilmlocations.com/Conta...

TAME ITI AT TE KURA MAORI A ROHE O WAIOHAU (10 zdjęć)
The kura was priveliged to have Tame Iti as a special guest at the annual Prizegiving Ceremony. The students composed a waiata and a haka for him to express their feelings about what happened to their whanau members at Ruatoki, and to express to Tame how they feel about him being a particular target since he has the highest profile, and therefore receives the hardest hits.

Police Scum - Cowards. (1 zdjęcie)
Picture of the four police officers who took part in repeatedly pepper-sprayed Mr Falwasser who is locked in a cell. The cell is so small it must have been very difficult for him to breathe. The High Court has ordered the public be allowed to see a videotape of a prisoner being beaten and pepper-sprayed in a police cell by four policeman. A jury saw it and acquitted the officers of charges arising from the incident. Police said they were using reasonable force. These four scum were not found guilty of their actions and yet there was video footage of the incident that was not allowed to be used as evidence. These cowards think that because they wear a uniform to inforce the law it gives them rights to do what ever they want to people and get away with it. I suspect that these cowards could of been involved in the raids just like the rest of the ninja state cowards who terrorised innocent men, woman, kuia, koroua and children of the Tuhoe Nation.

Indigenous Rights – The Galdino Mural (3 zdjęcia)
On Sunday 14 September in Waitangi Skate Park Wellington’s top graffiti crew Triple S (TS) painted a mural supporting indigenous rights. In the month when the 'October 15th' deposition hearing is taking place involving members of Tuhoe and other New Zealand activists who supported Maori indigenous struggle for self determination, this mural could not have come at a better time. Triple S Crew were approached to paint this mural by Dean Hapeta (Te Kupu – www. tekupu. com) on behalf of a USA-based activist music group, IR (onewatchman.wordpress. com), that uses music to support indigenous rights. This had been a worldwide call-out to help remember the horrific death of the Pataxo Indian Galdino Jesus dos Santos, an indigenous man who while he lay on the streets sleeping, was murdered by a group of rich children, who as a “joke” to poured gasoline on him and set fire to him.
