Another year has swooped by! Who would think we have been here for FOUR YEARS now ? I started this section with "3 NEW GARDENS" but actually the PLANS for these gardens started THE YEAR WE MOVED in 2003. "When we look at TODAY we marvel in the surprise , Treasuring the DAY a new flower blooms. and Looking forward to seeing all our old friends Return for another Year." "When we look BACK we can't believe the amount of work we have done ... When we look AHEAD we wonder if we can live long enough to ever see the END. We truly believe gardening is a NEVER ENDING STORY." GARDENS ARE MAGIC !

CC's Roses & Gardens (47 photos)
CC has been working on the rose gardens since 2005. If you are not aware, roses require alot of love and attention and patience. As you can see, CC's roses have received alot of this treatment . Stroll through the rose gardens, and enjoy ! all of these roses have a STRONG PERFUME SCENT (they are not the "newbie" hybrid scentless roses) so try to imagine the smell wafting from the pages as you enjoy their photos. NOTE: under each "Main BUSH Name" is that Rose's History : genus, growth habits, description of that plant. C.C. did all the reference work on the roses, so it is exact & true. Also, C.C.'s FUTURE DREAM: To learn how to procreate roses (to multiply existing and collect new species) To have such a large collection of unique & different roses that they fill the full acre !

FLOWERs + UNIQUE PHOTOS & NICE STUFF (49 photos)
I tend to like to see the SPRAWLING photos of ALOT of FLOWERS all at once. Well it started out as FLOWERS and has branched out to UNIQUE PHOTOS and just nice stuff .... There seems to be ALOT of flower photos with "no place to go" so I figured there is a need to start an album just for CLOSEUP flower shots. (or as I kiddingly refer to them: "up the nose shots") Then came the birds and they wanted a home. Well just ENJOY !! NOTE: Not all these photos were taken by myself. In fact there is a collection of photos from different sources. I understand there already is quite a collection of garden photos but these just screamed for their own space. Some of them are shot so closely you'll swear you can "smell" them.

"Hearts Desire" GARDEN Part 05 (40 photos)
Another year 2006 melted into 2007 ! THE YEAR OF "NEW STARTS"! The garden started with hundreds of snowdrops under the birch trees. We planted a sparse dozen the first year. Spring bulbs burst forth in the rock garden, and it is already time to dig and divide ! The daffodils and tulips came up in spectacular colors. We started digging new gardens. Ordered another 3 loads of mulch, 2 for the flower gardens and 1 for the rose garden. The fruit trees bloomed and some were for the first time. The photos for 2006 are of “Firsts” in the garden. And I was so busy getting the "first" in it is now 2007! Luckily this is going to Pay Off! I can show you the "beginning photo & end result photo" side by side now. At least that's MY plan today (05/07). Horrors! Dan "the Weedman" is gone! Will be greatly missed on his knees in the garden and for "chumming around" with. At least I can be thankful for 3 yrs of help, setting up & morale support! THANKS DAN ! YOU'LL BE MISSED!

So far these albums have taken me three or more years to collect all these unicorn photos. It all started when I made a unicorn photo album for Kelly, for her birthday. I never ever dreamed I could "hunt down" this many unicorns! My main time of the season to do "Unicorn Hunting" is during the Christmas Rush hours in the store. Something to do, that I like, helps pass the time ..... this year 2006, I decided to post "past years" and share my uni's !!
