2008 - Peace Arts Show, Mitchell Theatre (2 Fotos)
Bringing together many different cultures and cultural performances, The peace arts show was a play written by Rab Christie in an attempt to have traditional performances from India, Britain, China, Tibet, Greece, and many other places, showcased in the same production. The show took place in the Mitchell Theatre in Glasgow, and parts of it were filmed for a BBC Alba documentary about the Greek community in Scotland.

2007 - Glasgow's Mela Festival (7 Fotos)
One of Glasgows largest Asian festivals, every summer in Kelvingrove park, stalls and stages are put up to celebrate the bringing together of south Asian cultures and those of other countries when promoted by south Asian Diasporas abroad. Every year the Glasgow Mela festival is estimated to attract around 10,000 visitors over the two days it is arranged for in the West End's Kelvingrove park.

in 2005 the Special Olympics were held in Glasgow. At the final celebration of the games, the Glasgow Hellenic Dancers and many other performing groups were invited to perform at the Tramway in Glasgow, for the athletes and their families.
