I recently learned that my big brother Bill took his extra money and bought me this new dress! I always treasured this picture Dad took of me on my sixth birthday. My big sister Claire helped Mom plan a really nice birthday party for me. I remember unwrapping a boy doll which seemed larger than me! The doll was wearing red corduroy overalls with a matching hat and instantly became my favorite friend. Dad was an amateur photographer and was always posing us and snapping pictures in least-expected places!
