This section was started July 30, 2008. After a heavy rain last night, I went out this morning to catch the droplets of rain on the roses. I hope you enjoy the new section.

Class: Grandiflora. aka: MACche MACcheup
Breeding: Bred in New Zealand (197 by MCGREDY (New Zealand).
Bloom: Apricot & apricot blend [ARS ab] blooms. Strong fragrance. 35 petals. Average diameter 4". Double bloom form. Repeats its bloom again later in the season. Size: Height of up to 7½’ .
Growing: Zone 7 and higher. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you’ll probably find you’ll have to prune a little more than that. Requires winter protection if temperatures drop below freezing. Disease susceptibility: Powdery Mildew (See FAQ).
