About Me

Me, Myself, and I
PACE Youth Theatre run weekly workshops in drama in both Paisley and Ayr, Scotland for anyone aged 3-18 which aim to increase communication skills, confidence and self expression as well as performance skills.

We always welcome new members by filling in an application form at www.youththeatre.com.

Who are we?
PACE is a self-sufficient, non-profit making company and registered charity. All of our income is invested in changing the lives of young people through drama. PACE was formed in 1988.
Where?
PACE has bases in Paisley and Ayr town centres.
When?
Youth theatre workshops meet once a week during school term time. During the holidays members and non-members can take part in our Fest! Performing Arts Festivals.
What?
Workshops focus on developing our key skills of confidence, cooperation, as well as performance skills. They may be based around movement, drama, voice, acting, improvisation or music.
Former Members
Star of "The Last King of Scotland" James Mcavoy attended Pace, as did Shauna MacDonald, star of "The Descent", along with River City actor Gordon McCorkell, who plays 'Deek'. Former Musical Members include Paolo Nutini, Laura Marks from "El Presidente" and David Sneddon.
