Nosmo--King Update !!
Nosmo--King would like to thank everyone who came along to the abbot this friday to hear us play. The pub was mobbed with faces old and new and we appreciate the support. It is always a pleasure to play at montroses number 1 music venue and we hope to return soon if asked? It is also nice to see that following our gig last year at springers that we have inherited a new band of followers from the great city of Brechin!!.....Cheers folks!!
We are very happy with the new positive direction the band is now going in and it was refreshing to play no less than 8 new songs this weekend instead of the same old which we have been accustomed to be playing for the last so many years! we guarantee that everytime we play there will be new material fired out at each and every gig
It was also great to see the reaction to the return of MOBY DICK as it has been a while since the bomber has done the solo....but it was another good one as we all wittnessed!!
We would also like to thank the random punters spreading malicious gossip outside the Picture House last saturday night. The punters in question chose to lower the name of our band and its members, and also question one of our very recent band decisions. Being montrose this gossip reached us in less than 24hrs after it left their lips and it has actually been an inspiration to us, so THANK YOU RANDOM PUNTERS, we didnt see you in the abbot this friday and we dont expect to see any of you at another nosmo gig anyway, so go tell somebody who gives a FUCK
.....Many Thanks and all that jazz
May we also take this opportunity to officially announce that nosmo--king have been included in this years Music Festival. We are scheduled to play in The Market Arms on Saturday 29th May from 17:30 to 20:00. May we thank Willum from the market who bent over backwards to ensure he got us again this year after last years gig being to successful he had to close the doors of the pub as it was jam packed!! And not forgetting a large THANK YOU to MMF for accepting our application in such a positive manner that we were again offered 2 gigs but this year opted to do just the one due to other commitments.
Next gig is at The Northern Vaults on Saturday April 24th from 9pm. we hope to see you all there in the flesh!!
More new tunes on the way.....over and out from NOSMO -- KING
p.s. KEEP MUSIC LIVE

Nosmo--King
Thanks to everyone who came along to The Links last night to support a good cause.
The band have now shaken off the cobwebs and completed their first gig of 2010, we would like to thank the guys from Earcandy for letting us use the stage last night, it was an awesome crowd and a great sound. A big thanks to Mark (Sound Engineer) for his hard work in getting a good level from a PA that was more suitable for DJ's rather than a live band of Nosmo--Kings volume level.
Due to circumstances outwith our control Nosmo--King are sad to announce that our original bassist Paul will no longer be playing with the band. We would like to thank Paul for all his contribution since the band formed in 2007 and wish him and his family all the best. Some of the best memories of the band involve Paul and his trademark banter, stage presence and all round ability on the thunder plank. Thank you for everything you have done.
Nosmo--King would now like to announce a change in their line-up, as we are happy to welcome Scot Leport onboard as our new bassist. Scot is a well known and acomplished musician who has helped us out in the past. Scot also plays bass in 2 other great local bands which are Klocks and The Mandrakes.
Nosmo--King recognise Scots overall potential and will not stand in his way as he works with his other bands. This switch will be beneficial to all and especially Scot who can only get better and better.
Lastly we hope you all enjoyed the new tunes, our aim is to keep firing out new material at each gig from now on as a fresh setlist is the way forward and what the fans desire. Keep an eye on the Nosmo--King Bebo page for all upcoming gigs including a MAJOR announcement which is in the pipeline

Nosmo--King 2 Year Anniverssary
Well,
Maybe I must be the only band member that has noticed that it has been 2 years since the Nosmo--King bedlam started? During those 2 years we have put together a good few nights of live music and fun times. It hasnt went smooth every time but argue if you will........ the major majority of our gigs have been rather good
!!
The year of 2010 approaches and the band have a few more musical commitments to fulfill this year before the quiet period of January/February. Following that we will be introducing a good few new tunes to freshen up our setlist and hopefully 2010 will be an even bigger year in the town for LIVE MUSIC as well as other ventures.
Nosmo--Kings mission has always been to entertain you to the best of our abilities and we hope that we havent dissapointed.
Catch us this Friday at Ash from 9pm for another rockin night!
