"What we leave behind" is the first attempt by The Demise to put the songs they had been playing in countless bars and clubs onto a physical medium.The EP contains six tracks with an additional bonus track. "The Fear", "Nothing left to lose", "Do you believe?", "The Riff", "I know, You Don't" and the aptly named "The Last one" are all including on this now extinct EP. Like "Right on time" this was limited to a pressing of 200. All of which either sold out or was given out to fans at shows. The artwork was created by Fabian on what could be called his first adventure with Graphic Design and depicts a city being destroyed along with the boy from "Right on time". Also, overlayed is a short story which has to be read to reveal the full context of the artwork. This EP was recorded live with Mark O' Connor at Balls of Iron Studios in Limerick. The Voice-Over in The Fear is by Aaron Howe and the EP is dedicated to Debby Corry, A close friend who died shortly after the recording was finished.
