Working in UCC on my PhD in Psych, so basically findin more and more excuses to avoid the world of work, only a few more years and I'll have to find another one :(
In other news my beautiful fiance, Frances has just made the move to Bristol for a year. Makes me a sad Panda, but she'll be back, or else I'll release the flying monkeys (currenlt being genetically engineered in my washing basket).

  • I hate having to think of names for Blogs

    It never stops here in Mansvill, busy busy busy. Mister Bri is down for a few days, so I'm getting no work, but lots of fun stuff done. Tommorrow night I've got play testing, then Thursday night work and Friday Frances is coming over, I'm exausted even thinking about it.
    In other news went to Beverance Toy (probably not spelt like that) Gig/video shoot on Saturday night, dressed up as Zorrom, Colin came as a Gangater, Brian as a Knighet, Shelly as a Pirate and Roger as, well a Rog. Was great fun with dancing and Kazoos for all! (seriously) We got some inspired comments from passing scobes on the way out, some clasics like "You in fancy dress or What?" and (too me) "tonto didn't have a sword", the mind boggles.

    Anyhow, must go be productive for a change

  • Doh, Subconcious Procrastination

    I'm such a muppit. Got up (reasonable) early this moring to go to collage, only to fin I'd forgotten my Keys for the department and no one else around, sigh.. So I'm currently in realms trying to get some work done and hoping someone will come into college this afternoon. This so wouldn't be a problem if the rest of my research group wasn't as lazy as me. Oh well

    In other news was over in Bristol last weekend with the Fablious frances. Went to see the new superman at last and wasn't as disappointing as I thought it would be, sure the plot was a little thin, but hey it's superman!

    On sunday was back at hack after my week away and spent the whole season trying to undo the damage done to the poor campaign in my absence; Charmane's Angels, womens lib. movement, What where they thinking!! but backmon track for thwarting evil again now.

    Anyhow back to "work"

    Man tell me about it, life is pretty crazy at the mo over here too! I am still in Brisbane, its home now, getting citizenship in February then i will officially be an aussie!
    Had a knee reconstruction back in Jan (never fall off your circus partner, it has repurcussions!) and have just finished the major rehab and am onto the fine tuning of my bionic knee! I start back to circus and rock climbing any day now, just waiting for the trainer to call :)
    Work is going well, im doing quality, drafting and stuff for an engineering consultancy and about to do a business management diploma in internal auditing and risk management which im pretty excited about, yeay me!
    Having fun with Dave (man in pic), he is lovely so thats always good. Keeping busy lots of plans yadda yadda blah blah
    mum and the kids are coming over for xmas so cant wait...
    so whats the PHD thesis stuff about? How mental that your getting married! Enjoying the lead up and all that jazz ?
