- Meat loaf is the stage name for Marvin Lee Aday, Meat loaf was born on september 27th 1947 in Dallas Texas but moved to los angeles in 1967 and formed his first band name 'meat loaf soul'.Meat loaf linked up with Bonnie Tyler to create Bat out of hell which was the breakthrough album for meat loaf which sold an estimated 34 million copies worldwide and still sells over 200,000 copies a year now!!!!. Meat loaf worked on that album to create bat of hell 2 and eventually bat out of hell 3 which made bat out of hell the biggest selling album sequence of all time and took 30 years to make!!!!
