Me, Myself, and I
Lochee Harp Junior Football Club

We are a Scottish junior football club based in the Lochee area of the city of Dundee.

Formed in 1904 and nicknamed "The Harp", we play our home games at Beechwood Park.

Lochee Harp were formed among the Irish community in Lochee, and derive their history as an Irish Catholic football club. They were formed in much the same way as Glasgow Celtic, by local priests and church members to alleviate the boredom of the workers and provide some recreation. Dundee United F.C. have much the same origins, having been formed as Dundee Hibernian.

On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of
whom loved to play together. One day the horse fell into a bog
and began to sink. The horse begged the chicken to go get
    the farmer for help.

The chicken ran back to the farm, He searched and searched
for the farmer, but to no avail for he had gone into town
with the only tractor. Running around, the chicken spied
the farmers new Z-3 SERIES BMW!! Finding the
keys inside, the chicken sped off with a length of rope
hoping he still had time to save his friends life.

Back at the bog, the horse was surprised, but happy to see
the chicken arrive in the SHINY BMW. He managed to get hold
of the rope, the chicken tossed to him. After tying the other end
to the rear bumper of the BMW, the chicken then drove slowly
forward and, with the aid of the powerful car,
    rescued the horse!

Happy and proud, the chicken drove the BMW back
to the farmhouse and the farmer was none the wiser,
    when he returned.

The friendship between the two animals was cemented,
    Best buddies, Best pals.

A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon
he too began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life!
the horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the
large mud pit. Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab
his 'thing' and he would then lift him out of the pit.
The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled his
Best buddy, Best pal, up and out, saving his life.

    The moral of the story???

When you're hung like a horse,
you dont need a BMW to pick up chicks!!!!

    Kenny Boyle by Kenny Boyle
After an absolute shoeing from the Dundee United U19s, do the Harp fans consider the team good enough for a promotion push and have they got the right management team in Mike and Roddy? All opinions considered

Right fellow halflings. Could smell an amazing league run coming on. Early night!!! Brad....no waking up in middle of the night for sexy time - that goes for the lot of you. Speedy...Keep the fuck away fae the Lochee Road the night. Scottie....Just let the bad boys have a night of it. Asbo....no battering your old man or grandad tonight - save your energy. I predict a 2-1 win tomorrow. Will be tough but surely to Christ we are due a result. Mon the Harp!!!!

Well done sat boys. Never been so proud of a team performance as i was on Sat. Lets now kick on and win this league once and for all. Pieces are starting to fit together now and we can beat anyone in this league. And now i think we genuinely believe it. What we did in that second half was pretty fucking amazing. Great performance and result. We are hitting a bit of form and i really cant see anyone beating us now. All over the park we have a wee bit quality and some of the goals we are scoring are frightening. The build up play is really pretty good. Well done again boys. That is our standard now. Dont anyone dare fall below it!!!!

    Hey Sports fans,
At last, a game of footie on a Saturday. Winter has obliterated our footie schedule over last 2 months. Please can everyone leave their lights on and keep their cars running overnight to heat this bastard planet up!!!
    Downfield tomorrow at their gaff.
Will be a toughy. they have some decent players but so do we. Shooting was off a good standard on Tuesday so lets take that into tomorrows game. Wide players - express yourselves and get plenty balls into the box. Fancy us to win handsomely tomorrow. Spiders 0 -4 Harp
    Mon the Harp!!

Michael, sometimes you have to use a bit of common sense when deciding how results are likely to go, hence the reason ur coupon never comes up. Lloydie, im not sure about the night out but will gie you a bell during the week and let u know
