"Aren't all schools boring?!" he asked with a grin and set off walking with her into the car park, but before he could even say another word, a guy in a black van, spun in the car park and headed straight towards Bella. Edward rushed to protect her and stuck out his arm, it was probably going to hurt him, but probably like a pinch. The van crumpled inwards "are you ok" asked Edward not even realising what he could have potentially done.

Edward let out a little laugh and looked into her eyes, his were golden of colour, unusual really. "like i said, you were the new girl, everybody loves a new girl" he said with a grin and looked down at his shoes. "you enjoying school?" he asked looking back up at her, he tried and tried to read her mind, but nothing.

Edward smiled at her comment about the stuffiness, it wasn't too bad at all, and he could tell she was nervous, but why? "i'm Edward Cullen, sorry about before, i just get a little shy around new people" he said with a cheeky smile all the way through "you're Bella right?" he asked as everyone was talking about the new girl

Edward looked through the glass doors to see Bella, he was hoping she would come outside, he needed to read her more, at a more closer position. He twiddled his thumbs and bit on his bottom lip. He indicated for her to come outside

Edward remained staring at her "Edward" alice called to distract him. "sorry" he said and looked away from her, occasionally flicking his eyes up to meet hers. What was it about her that drew him in? he didn't even know. Edward got up out of his seat and went outside for some fresh air, he needed it after this encounter. The other Cullen's remained inside as Edward sat on a wall and looked around at all the late teens, their thoughts going through his own, but he still couldn't read Bella's.

Edward made his way to the table the rest of the Cullen's sat on. It was empty, no food on the table, but solid food wasn't really his thing. Alice and Jasper were messing around with each other, making noise, but edward closed it out to look at something, or someone, Bella Swan. He frowned a little staring at her, why couldn't he read her mind? was something wrong. He looked at her friend, Jessica. He raised his eyebrows at what she was thinking, but followed with a little smirk before turning his attention to Bella. Her scent was incredible. Different, but incredible. But why couldn't he read her mind. Alice just looked at him and nodded, but what did that even mean?

Another day at school, thought Edward as he walked into the cafeteria. He was tired of the same routine, over the many years of his life. But if he didn't go to school, people would get suspicious. The cold blooded vampire closed the door behind him before stopping in his tracks. He took a deep breathe, closing his dark eyes. He must of looked like a psycho, but the smell of someones blood was incredibly tempting.

When he tapped me on the shoulder I felt a cold spark just run through my entire body, it was strange but nice. I smirked when I seen he was reading the same book as me. I held up mine to show him I was just getting to the half way mark of the book already. I reached down to my bag and grabbed out a refill pad. I wrote: "Your still not feeling any better? I have a copy of this at home, it's falling to pieces, I could recite the entire book." I passed the book over to him as a small blush crept on my cheeks. Lads never effect me like this, Mike for instance, I know he likes me, no guy is that friendly unless they like you and he doesn't make me blush, not at all..

Bella sighed "Hah. Thanks and yeah she is." She stared at him for a long minute and opened her mouth to speak "Earlier you said somethng about my dad, what was that about?"

When I noticed his hand pointing to the seat beside him I felt a nervous lump build up in my stomach. I pulled out the seat and sat down, pulling my legs up so sit on them when I did. I put the book back under my nose. I didn't even need to read it, I could quote the entire story. I was lost right now, I found my page but with him sitting this close to me I just couldn't concentrate. I could get a smell of what ever he was wearing and it was divine. I took in a shaky breath to try and clear my mind but it wasn't working, it just made me yurn to get that little bit closer to him. I still couldn't believe he was giving me the time of day.

"No it's fine" Bella smiled slightly starting to get distracted. She moaned lightly tring not to be too loud so others could hear.

Bella lied down on the sofa and sighed a little to herself as she waited for him. She smiled as she saw him coming back in and moved over to he could lie next to her

Bella nodded her head as she looked at him. "Yeah I guess so" she said and bit down on her lip. She relaxed on the sofa again and watched some more tv. She kept her eyes on the tv for awhile
