Confederate Flag, Conservatism, and Fundamentalism---Is Ignorance Really Bliss?

I can't begin to count how many times people have said to others that I must still be in the KKK because I either defend the Confederate flag, vote Republican, identify myself as a Conservative, or that I believe in biblical fundamentalism. It is sad that these people have so much bigotry and prejudice within their own beliefs that they are too stupid to pick up a history book, a political platform, or the Holy Bible and find out what it is all about.

First of all on the Confederate flag issue, the ones who say I am still in the KKK because I respect and honor the Confederate flag, are really ignorant when it comes to the history behind it. They probably didn’t bother to study the FACT that over 30,000 African American soldiers died in the war Between The States VOLUNTARILY defending the South and carrying that flag. No, they are too busy believing the ignorant propaganda that the South fought the war so they could own slaves and beat up Black people instead of learning what the real facts are.

Yes there were people in the South who owned slaves and slavery was wrong. However, how much better was the North when they said they wanted to free the slaves but when the slaves were freed and came to the North they were discriminated against and forcibly segregated into ghettos and projects? There they were forced into a life of poverty and lack of education while the Northerners sent their kids to the best schools and didn’t want Blacks assimilating into society as the White people’s equals. By denying Black people good jobs and equal education, many Blacks felt forced to turn to a life of crime due to the discrimination they received from the North. Many Black people returned to the South once they saw they were not welcome by those who set them free from slavery. Another fact that Northerners do not want to point out is the underground railroad did not go to the northern states, it went to Canada because they knew the north would either enslave them or send them back to their masters in the south. Many of the freed slaves were in fact enslaved by the North economically by being denied decent paying jobs, equal educational opportunities, or homes in areas other than the ghettos.

Wouldn’t you say it was just a little hypocritical of the North to condemn the South for slavery, while all the time the North was operating “sweat shops” where they used child labor forcing children as young as six years old to work for 12-14 hours manual labor until many of them either dropped over sick or dead from exhaustion? The North did this both prior to the war and continued this brutal practice many years after the war had ended.

Only 3% of the South owned Slaves. 97% of the South did not own slaves. Why would 97% of people who either couldn’t afford to own slaves or didn’t believe in slavery fight a war which saw their homes, families and beloved land destroyed so that 3% of the rich elitists and aristocrats could own slaves? The answer is: they wouldn’t. The people of the South fought a war against Northern Aggression because they saw the USA being governed in a different direction than what was originally intended by our forefathers who founded this nation. The North believed in a strong central federal government rule where the federal government held the power and could make the rules and override any rules they didn’t agree with that the individual states might enact as laws. The South on the other hand, believed in States Rights, which meant that the people ruled in each individual state and if Washington DC passed any laws which came in conflict with the will of the people of each state, then the individual states could override Washington DC. I am ashamed and astonished at the amount of Black people who have the nerve to call themselves Christians that are voting for Barack Hussein Obama. I understand this is America and you have the right to vote for whoever you want to, but don’t call yourself a Christian if you are going to vote for a candidate or a party that advocates the exact opposite of what is written in God’s word. Many Black preachers have come out in favor of Obama. Yes I said preachers; men who claim to be men of God. I say ‘claim’ because there is a difference between being a man of God and ‘claiming’ to be one.



There is no way that someone can truly believe in God and vote for someone like Barack Hussein Obama. This man stands for abortion, which is the murder of unborn babies. Obama is a man who has vowed to defend the rights of baby killers everywhere. This man also is in favor of homosexual marriages. Both of these issues are included in the Democratic Party platform which says:



Pursue embryonic stem cell research. (Jul 2004)
Support right to choose even if mother cannot pay. (Jul 2004)
Choice is a fundamental, constitutional right. (Aug 2000)
Keep marriage at state level; no federal gay marriage ban. (Jul 2004)
Pass hate crime legislation including gays. (Aug 2000)


I can point out so many things; like his refusal to salute the American flag and to wear a flag pin, and his outright lies that he never has been a Muslim, when it is a proven fact that he attended a Muslim school. Let us not forget that in his book, “The Audacity of Hope” Obama stated on pg. 261, "I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Obama’s pastor for the last twenty years has been Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr., who says “God Damn America” and that America deserved what they got on 9/11. Wright honored Louis Farrakhan, the USA Islamic leader and had him preach from his pulpit to the applause and approval of the church. Yet, Barack Hussein Obama wants America to believe that he never knew that his church did all of this or believed that way. Obama sat under Rev. Wright for twenty years and had him to his home on numerous occasions. Wright performed Obama’s marriage ceremony. Obama had Wright’s endorsement on his website until the media turned the heat up on him. CHRISTIAN WITCHES And What To Do About Them!


Occasionally, people at different churches I minister at, approach me after the service, or they email me asking me to pray and be in agreement with them for various things. I used to say, "Sure, OK," without thinking and now I have changed my policy. Suppose Mary Jane Morgan approaches me and asks me to be in agreement with her to get a promotion to supervisor at her job or to get a certain job. What if God's will was that promotion or job that Mary Jane Morgan asked me to be in agreement with her for, was intended for someone else altogether? By praying in agreement with Mary Jane Morgan, I am joining with her to violate God's will for someone else.


Case in point, it would be no different than if Mary Jane Morgan asked me to be in agreement with her that Billy Bob Baxter will fall in love with her and be her husband. If God's will was for Billy Bob Baxter to be the hubby of Tammy Jo Thompson, and if I go throwing spiritual prayers up into the clouds and being in agreement with Mary Jane Morgan for Billy Bob Baxter to marry her, then I am praying against God's will. What could follow next is spiritual manipulation.

You see if I pray in agreement with someone then as a man of God, I really must believe for what I am praying. Many of us will pray, 'Let God's will be done,' without really knowing God's will. Therefore we must believe that what we are praying in agreement with someone for is actually God's will. Then if I somehow convinced myself it was 'God's will' for Mary Jane and Billy Bob to be married, then I would be speaking it forth. The Holy Word of God says, in Proverbs 21:23, "He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity." I would be helping to bring calamity into people's lives which is terrible loss, lasting distress, or severe affliction; in other words a disaster!"


The reason you should never be in automatic agreement with someone in prayer when they ask you to be, is to not only avoid trying to interfere with God's will for someone else, but to also avoid spiritual manipulation. The wrong people in your life could be a curse for you. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says "Bad company corrupts good character." You should only want people close to you as your friends to be those God has really wants to be close to you. God's will is to never have people to be your close friends who will drain and discourage you; He wills you to be with people who will energize and encourage you. Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times but a brother is born of adversity." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 "Therefore, encourage each other and strengthen one another as you are doing." (God's Word)

I knew a girl in Tulsa several years ago that was in the ministry and went to church where I attended back in the early 90's. Now for all practical appearances, she seemed stable and normal. She was pretty, and had a desire to serve God. She even started a bible study and preached on the radio. We went to a high profile church where high profile people used to attend. One of those high profile people was the famous singer and actor, Carman. That church was 80% single females because most of those women where either there to try and snag the pastor who was also single at the time, or Carman as a hubby. This girl I knew was convinced that Carman was going to be her husband. She told me several people had "confirmed" this to her through either a 'word of knowledge' or a dream interpretation. She kept trying to get "close" to Carman who basically ignored her. She had a group of girls that followed her around and attended her bible study group, and they all kept praying that Carman and she would get married. They were all convinced that Carman was her husband and when it finally became apparent that he was not interested in her, they all said Carman was deceived and didn't know the will of God.

Friends, there is a name for that and it's called spiritual manipulation, which
