In 2007 Jay Sean independently released his 2nd Album which quickly sold over 150,000 Units, proving to the world that his fan base and artistry was truly a force to be reckoned with. Indeed, his sales caught the eye and ear of Cash Money CEO Ronald "Slim" Williams, who instantly saw Jay's worldwide appeal and potential and signed him to a multi album, Multi Million dollar recording Contract.
In this way, Jay Sean became more than a singer and more than a recording artist. By sticking to his guns and belief in himself, and by not compromising his art, he rose above the music industry and became the poster child for those of us who want to do things our own way, regardless of the difficulties that might face us.
