| Inveraray and District Pipe Band <IDPB> "World Juvenile Champions & World Best Drum Corps Under 18 2008 (:" | ||||
|  | IDPB was formed in 2005 and competed at cowal that year, Novice Juvenlie, We came 13th. In 2006, the band was in the prize list for every competition they entered, coming 3rd at Cowal at the end of the season. In 2007 the band won 4 / 5 majors consisting of the Scottish, Europeans,Worlds and Cowal. They also were Champions of Champions for novice Juvenile that. In 2008, IDPB got promoted to Juvenile. Last year in 2008, the band also came away with first prize in 4 / 5 majors; British, European World and Cowal. At the Worlds, they also won first prize for drumming. IDPB also were Champions of Champions 2008. This year, 2009, the band have been promoted to their first year in an adult grade, Grade 2. We have also formed a new Novice Juvenile band who are competing next season.Both bands thank everyone who supports them or who have done in the past!
