Do's n Dont's of the hunting field
Don't ride within 50 yds of the hounds
Don't ride in front of the master at any time
Dont gallop past any livestock, walk
Don't school horses over fences
Dont ride across a field that looks like new ground, go around the edge
Do thank any farmers whose land you are crossing, remember he is your host, and you are his guest
Do close any gates even in doubt
Do jump walls only in one place
Do build up any fence you knock down
Do open and close gates for the huntsmen
Do turn your horses tail to the ditch when hounds are passing by.
