BOY RACERS run the risk of having their vehicles crushed if they continue to 'harass, alarm and distress' other users of a busy car park.
Police are taking action after receiving reports of youths boozing, littering and speeding around South Elmsall's market car park, on Barnsley Road.
Officers plan to hand out Section 59 warnings to offenders – which are used to combat motorists who use their vehicles to harass, alarm or distress others and can lead to vehicles being seized and crushed.

ANGRY residents have backed Wakefield Council into a dead end by refusing to allow their street to be used as a route for cars parking at Frickley Country Park.
Wakefield Council finished building a visitors’ car park for Frickley Country Park at the end of Bradley Carr Terrace, South Elmsall, earlier this year.
But residents living along the street, which is unadopted, have refused to allow access to the car park via Bradley Carr Terrace.
Now the council has been forced to make a u-turn by blocking off the car park until further investigations into the ownership of the road and alternative options have been carried out.
