Ok everyone, the day is coming closer. For those of you who are taking this seriously I suggest these things to make it known to the world:

*Email your music TV channel or radio. This is extremely effective, some people in South America got it on TV and I got an email back saying that they may mention it on my country's music channel so try that.

AN UPDATE FOR YOU:
Amy doesn't know about this because she hasn't been on Evthreads for a while. Tim hasn't mentioned anything about it but hopefully he will next time he goes on and sees us talking about it. Terry never goes on so there's no hope of him knowing. So basically we're just hoping that Tim'll tell us his thoughts on it.

Update: MARCH 4TH IS THE DAY!!
So us at Evthreads have been discussing a world Evanescence day, just like the MCR fans did. Basically it'll just be a day for all of us to express our fanliness by having like an Ev party with your evfriends, make ev cookies and cupcakes, balloons, making video dedications to them on youtube etc. I'll update you if the band gets involved.

TIMELINE
Amy Lee and Ben Moody met when they were 14 and 15 at a camp. Amy's way of getting out of playing basketball was to play piano and Ben listened to her until he heard her play "I'd do Anything For You (But I won't do That)" which was the only song he recognised. So basically they start talking, they become friends and get guest performers to play with them in Little Rock, Arkansas but as other members left, Amy and Ben stuck together. After deciding on the name Evanescence they got John LeCompt, Rocky Gray and David Hodges. A few years go by, the get signed to Windup Records and become a big hit. Through the "Fallen" years, David was replaced by Will Boyd, Ben left the band mid-tour who was replaced with Terry Balsamo and everything was sweet. But times got tough. Terry had a stroke, Amy went through a tough break up with Shaun Morgan (From Seether) and Will left to be with his family and was replaced with Tim MCord and a load of other things. Having finished their Open Door tour, the band are having a much deserved holiday. Amy's enjoying married life and playing the harp, Tim's kicking Pirate butt with his sweet ninja skills and Terry's.... Well how should I know? He never talks. Lol.

JUST A FEW RANDOM FACTS
Amy is allergiic to lobster. If she eats it she'll go into a coma.

Her sisters Lori and Carrie Lee sung backups on Call Me When You're Sober.

Amy had another sister who passed on when she was 3. Doctors still don't know why.

Amy was named after the song "Amie"

Terry's stroke was caused from a bloodclot in his neck due to head banging (rock on dude \m/)

Call Me When You're Sober is about Shaun Morgan (Seether's lead singer)

The band went through a couple of names including Striken and Childish Intentions.

Evanescence is Latin for "to vanish like vapor"

Amy insists she was "Overweight with poofy hair" when she was at school

In the Lithium video, the snow represents good whilst the black water represents "the dark". So Amy's going into the dark but at the end decides to "let it go"

Good Enough and Bring Me To Life are about Josh. Aw.

Amy can't perform Hello and Like You live cos she says she'll go into a major breakdown. And the bridge in Like You is hard to sing.

If you slow down the loop on Even In Death it sounds EXACTLY like the loop on Snow White Queen. Also, the choir singing in Anything For You is the same in Lacrymosa.

Snow White Queen is about stalkers. Snow White is her name on Evthreads and Evclub and Queen symbolises how fans think she's royalty and idolise her.

John, Rocky, Ben and Amy all lived in Arkansas

Ben has worked with Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson.
