Grampian Police employs around 2,300 staff in its Aberdeen Headquarters and the forty-four other Police Offices to provide a modern, professional policing service to the communities of North-east Scotland.
The Force serves over 530,000 people in a very diverse area of 3373 square miles, stretching from the Cairngorm Mountains in the west to the Moray and Aberdeenshire coasts to the north and east. The region comprises the city of Aberdeen, several towns, many villages and a large rural area with a corresponding variety of industries, most notably oil and gas, agriculture, fishing and tourism.
