- 2008 was a great year for Glasvegas. After winning the NME Radar Award and coming 4th in the BBC Sound of 2008 poll, the band released their self-titled debut album through Columbia Records in September, which reached number 2 in the UK album chart. The album was co-produced by lead singer James Allan and Rich Costey (Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Muse) and features the singles Geraldine, Daddy’s Gone and forthcoming release Flowers & Football Tops.
Glasvegas are James Allan, Rab Allan, Paul Donoghue and Caroline McKay.

Was great to meet you guys after the Echo gig in Glasgow, what a buzz!!. Me and my buddie won passes to see Echo And The Bunnymen @ the istore last Sunday and managed to get on the guest list thanx to Nick the drummer. Defo a week ill not forget in a hurry, still buzzing!!!
