GLANMIRE MACRA NA FEIRME is a youth organisation for 17-35 year olds and have something for everyone whether it be Debating, Drama, Ballad Group singing, Set Dancing, Farm skills, travel, community involvement(e.g. fundraising), Activity Days, Sports: Basketball, lads Soccer, ladies Soccer, Unihoc, Bowling, 7aside football or Volleyball....the list is endless!
Above all Glanmire Macra is a great way to meet young energetic people who like to socialise and have the craic.

Come along to a meeting and find out what it's all about on the 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 9p.m. in Sars GAA Pavilion (note: no meetings during July and August), Glanmire or to our weekly sports night in Watergrasshill Community Hall from 9-10pm every tuesday. Miss Blue Jeans (2008 title held by Glanmire!), national drama competition (All ireland Finalists 2008 and 2009), soccer, unihoc, know your ag quiz(4th in all ireland final 2008) , miss macra, Novelty Act (all ireland finalists) solo singing, set dancing, Mastermind (all ireland finalist 2009), question time (all ireland finalists 2008/9), ...the list goes on!
Fundraising &community events?
Sponsored walk for Honan House, COPE Foundation, Race night in June 2008, sponsored swim Christmas 2008 in aid of ST VINCENT DEPAUL, woodcutting to provide fuel for the elderly of glanmire in December 08.
Sports?
Basketball, Soccer (lads & ladies), Unihoc, Vollleyball, hill walking, tag rugby, dodgeball, pitch and putt....we also have a sports night every tuesday from 9-10pm in Watergrasshill Community Hall

      Glanmire Macra are holding a family fun day in aid of the Jack and Jill Foundation. This family fun day will be in association with Know Your Neighbour Campaign which will b held on Sun 8th August in the Community Field in Upper Glanmire. Lots of activities for all ages on the day. A draw will be held for a sign Cork Hurling jersery and a prize for the most appropriate dressed on the day. Sure to be a fun day:)

      Ballincollig Macra na Feirme will be celebrating their 60th anniversary on Saturday the 21st of November in the Oriel House, Ballincollig. Guest speaker on the night will be one of Macra’s past presidents Declan Martin. Declan Martin was Macra na Feirme National President from 1971 -1973 and he hails from Cork. The band on the night are the Irish Weavers followed by DJ Donal Crowley.
