This could be for you!

Maybe you have just left school or finished a college course. Perhaps you didn’t get the qualifications you needed or maybe you just don’t know what to do next to start your career. Gallery 37 in Newark & Sherwood could help you learn a new skill and most importantly help you to get the training or work in a creative industry that interests you.

Gallery 37 is a training programme for young people aged 16 to 24. It focuses on an intensive summer course involving a range of art forms. Working alongside professionals you could become an apprentice in the arts and receive a training grant.

As an apprentice you will be given the chance to learn and develop new skills, work towards gaining an Arts Award and learn about how you could develop your interest in to your future career!

Drama Production & Performance: Want to be on stage? Or learn how it's all put together? Then this course could be for you! Come an work with the professionals and write perform and produce your own play!
Visual Arts: For all you arty types we've got a fabulous course for you. Learn with local artists loads of different art forms sculpting, design, painting and much more....
Drumming & Dance: Seen stomp? Loved it? Then this could be for you. For all you lot with rhythm in your soul learn from the best how to create great beats with drums and how to move to the beats you create.
Documentary Film Making: Based at Nottingham's Broadway Media Centre you will have everything at hand to become the next Michael Moore. Learn everything from how to work behind the camera, editing, directing.....
