Bord Gáis Energy NFL Div 1 Round 7 Previews
Sunday 11th March, 2010
Tyrone v Kerry, Cill Iseal, 2.00 (E O’Hare)
A win for Tyrone would complete a dramatic escape from relegation for a team that looked dead and buried a couple of weeks ago. The O’Neill County have shown true quality in recent weeks and should have enough to account for already relegated Kerry.
Monaghan v Galway, Emyvale, 2.00 (S McIntyre)
Both sides are guaranteed a play-off spot but seeding could be crucial when the top four are finally confirmed. Both counties are unbeaten to date but Monaghan’s home advantage could give them the edge over the Tribeswomen.
Laois v Dublin, Stradbally, 2.00 (K Delahunty)
A win for either side puts them in the frame for a semi-final berth but a loss could see them relegated from the top division. Dublin have had the better of recent encounters between the two but have lost their way since beating Cork on the opening weekend.
Mayo v Cork, Ballinrobe 3.00 (D McEnery)
Mayo need a win in their final game to claim a play-off spot while Cork, with a game in hand, will want to deny the Westerners a second bite of the cherry. Cork are back on track after a shaky start and have the quality to win away from home.0 Comments 15 weeks
