New Film
Hey guys
Check out this great new film
Please check it out !
American Teen
Glasgow Film Theatre 1
Wednesday 18 February
11:15
Cineworld 18
Wednesday 18 February
18:45
The media loves to demonise the young as knife-wielding feral creatures who only come out at night. The reality is very different. American Teen follows four high school seniors in Warsaw Indiana as they face the future and endure the eternal pressures of beckoning adulthood. The characters include arty misfit Hannah, super bitch Megan, nice guy basketball star Colin and super geek Jake. This glossy documentary has all the intensity of your favourite soap opera as it captures the dramatic highs and lows of one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Films at Glasgow Youth Film Festival
The full programme for GYFF has launched, including over 25 fantastic films aimed at under 21s. We've added trailers for some of the films on offer above, and some information about some of our favourite films showing below. Tickets are £5 each, or if a group of friends comes together, you can get 5 cheap tickets for £20 (£4 each).
32A (12A)
Glasgow Film Theatre
Monday 16 February 8.45pm
Tuesday 17 February 11.30am
After casting many envious glances at other women’s busts (even the nuns’), 13-year-old Maeve finally gets her first bra, size 32A. To her surprise, she also attracts the attentions of local heartthrob Brian, a wild 16-year-old. Maeve’s so smitten that she abandons her girlfriends at a crucial moment. Snubbed by her friends and in hot water at home, Maeve learns some hard lessons about what’s really important in life.
LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (15)
Glasgow Film Theatre
Tuesday 17 February 8.15pm
Wednesday 18 February 3.30pm
If the astonishing success of Twilight has left you in the mood for a truly eerie, atmospheric vampire story then the award-winning Let The Right One In is only too happy to oblige. 12 year-old Oskar is a constant victim of school bullies who longs for a friend to ease his pain. His dreams are answered by the arrival of new neighbours with a pale, interesting young girl Eli who only seems to come out at night.
RABBIT WITHOUT EARS (12A)
Cineworld 16
Thursday 19 February 8.45pm
Friday 20 February 2.45pm
This slick romantic comedy is simply irresistible. Actor-director Til Schweiger is one of the brightest stars in German cinema with a box-office record that Hugh Grant might envy. Here, he plays a cocky, muckraking Berlin reporter who finally gets his comeuppance after gatecrashing a celebrity engagement party. His punishment is 300 hours of community service at a childcare centre run by Anna the girl he used to humiliate at school. Revenge is a dish she serves with relish in a fizzy romp that attracted a staggering 6 million admissions in Germany.
