This is not a Sales Role. However the person has to be an effective communicator. You should be an expert in managing customer relationship, escalation handling. Should have expertise over technical and managerial competence. This person will engage with their customer as a principle contact point for all technical issues, concerns, and guidance. Via this role you will be managing activities of designated support engineers within the CLIENT’S Premier Support group. Provide one on one coaching and feedback to junior level support account managers. Thus strong and consistent relationship building is required. Coordinating and facilitating quarterly business review meetings with customers and representing the CLIENT’S Customer Support Organization with local sales teams to present support solutions for regional customers.
The Qualifications for this Role:
1. A successful Sr. SAM demonstrates strong skills in end-to-end customer and stakeholder management.
2. The Sr. SAM must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within both the customer’s organization, and CLIENT’S. Communication, above all else, is the key-critical attribute that the Sr. SAM must develop and own.
3. Optimally, the Sr. SAM will have practical knowledge, via sales, support, services, etc, of IT infrastructure, the systems used to support it, the guiding principles and best-practices that drive IT, and a Bachelor’s degree, in a related or complimentary field of study.
4. The Sr. SAM should be recognizable as a leader, a coach, and a mentor.
5. ITSM/Remedy experience Additional competencies important in the success of the Sr. SAM include:
6. Direct experience with CLIENT’S product and solutions. \
7. A degree of technical acumen that allows the Sr. SAM to track and understand highly technical topics and scenarios.
8. An (approximated 15%) availability to travel.
9. The ability to recognize potential revenue opportunity and engage the account team. • A passion for exceptional customer service.
