Hiya, I guess I should introduce myself first. I'm Joanne, more commonly known as JD and I'm giving Kiri a hand with the Bebo site from time to time.

I saw your question Julia and thought you might like an answer so that you can get stuck into your reading over the weekend.

I'm pretty sure that Kiri would be happy for you to include Manga in your readings however don't forget the Double Points categories:

DOUBLE POINTS LIST
Monday 16th June: Pacific Writing
Monday 23rd June: Relationships
Monday 30th June: Thrillers
Monday 7th July: Non-Fiction
Monday 14th July: Sci-Fi/Fantasy
Thursday 17th July: Last day for reviews

If you read and review a title from the above categories on the appropriate week you get Double Points - so try reading something that you wouldn't normally read and increase your chances of getting some really awesome prizes at the finale auction.

So...I challenge you to have a look at some Pacific Writing books or a title from the Relationships section.

In return, I will read a Manga book - something I've never done before. Can anyone suggest one that would be good for a newbie?
