my two cents worth 440 giorni fa

my thoughts on voting and this election - also how the present government has effected my life and possibly yours and you maybe unaware of it so here goes.... please remember freedom of speech and this is just my opinion and a few facts.

I feel sodomised by the government and if you didnt know i just dont do it that way!

Reasons why the present government sucks......

parents, and i know that all my friends out there are reasponsible and loving parents who dont abuse there children but is smacking a naughty child on the backside a reason to get a criminal record - no not when mongrels who beat two year olds to death are lucky to get of with a pitiful 3 and a half years. Sue Bradfors the design of this plan is such a wonderful example to our children are you aware she was a prostitute and has approx 14 charges for assult and her own child killed himself - maybe he needed to know someone loved him enough to smack his bum. Oh and still babies are being beaten to death in their own homes by fmaily which should love and protect them which shows you how well the smacking bill has worked and to add insult to injury we have a punch of kids thinking they can get away with anything because 'you cant smack me'

- Sticking with our children who i feel have been so wronged by the present government - how many do we have going to schoool without breakfast>>without lunch.??? I think its great that we have fruit in schools and some schools breakfast but why???? are too many kids slipping through the cracks - yep. Are to many parents struggling to make ends meet??? yep! are the agencies and services set up to protect and help such children and there families lacking funding???yep!!! And why so helen clarke can enjoy a salary and first class travel around the world - did you know they donated at least 9 million dollars to the tsunami relieve which i know was needed but how far would that of stretched here at home????? How could that of affected our education or health system??? also just found a publication which said the nz government donated $200,000 to an Iran health centre - im just thinking how far that could of stretched in a south auckland health centre?????? How many childrens coughs or illnesses could of been fixed with that???? Its alot of medicine! Theese are just two examples but the calculation is that 0.27% of our total income will go on foreign aid that seems like freck all but its not it is millions and when it is coming from all of us getting of our arses to work to look after our families why should it go over seas when our own basics are so freckin expensive - when going to a doctor is half a weeks food bill etc etc

- are you aware that this new emissions trading bill past slyly through parliment???? also designed by the greens with the help of labour. It will greatly increase the day to day living cost for ALL of us. Our power bills are due to increase by so much that in 2010 we will all get a payout towards our power bill which is spose to offset the increase - any of you trying to keep your babies warm in winter will appreciate that one lump sum contribution will not help us the following winter. Nor will it make up the great increase in power cost we are already having to try and survive with.

- Now i live next to the once beautiful manawatu river which everyday has tonnes of effulent (toilet stuff) dumped into the river this often smells even though we are kilometres from where it is dumped also it is often very dirty and this also dicolours the beach for many kilometres either side (particularily north due to tidal flow etc) - This cant be keeping nz beautiful so whats up with all these complicated law changes which effect enryday people and their everyday lives lets look at the ones who are doing bad things and stop that before getting up our arse.

- Lets look at the economy - now i am far from clued up in the ins and out of economics, finance or any of that what i do know is the cost of my butter in less than 6 months has gone from $2.80 - $4.30 - milk is now $5 for 2 Litres and cheese - well lets not go there. But we as a country have this huge gigantic diary industry. To me something is going wrongwhen a government doesnt step in and say - hey you get real $16 for a kilo of cheese in this country is wrong and no deal - sort it out. Now i guess part of the problem is the fact petrol has gone up so much which we are all feeling the pinch on - and what percentage of that is tax and government levies - 52.5 cents per litre is tax and then you pay gston top of that - then when you pay your car rego which is always going up youy are paying to 'use the roads' so what the freck are you paying tax in your petrol for??????

- Tax well thats just a frecked thing to - Cullen has made numerous promises for tax cuts and none have been that significant to actually account for anything at he end of a week - your lucky if when it arrived in october if you will able to afford that block of cheese. Cullen is a knob and thats about all i can say for that man - he needs to retire with the small amount of dignity he has left before he becomes as much of a mockery as winston peters - rip his political career.

- A few weeks ago Helen Clarke sent me a pamphlet saying that working familiew will increase about $30 a week for families as of October - i thought that was great and would help off set the increasing cost of feeding and homing my family of six - i found out the other day we will get an extra $13 - pitiful!

- Im not a racist i hate all races equally but the labour government have been very generous with imigration which i believe is unfair to those who are already here - iok so a whole heap of professionals go overseas and fair enough we need doctors and stuff im not worried baout them (keeping our own iat home is another issue) im talking about the ones who arrive with their family can not speak english and go onto a benefit - or work at kfc or as a telemarketer - kiwis can be doing these jobs and they should be!

- Which brings me to employers and kiwisaver - now i believe saving for retirement is brilliant no arguments here however are you aware of hte cost to your boss - not to mention the recent increase to holiday pay etc - great for workers dont get me wrong but the government did it so quickly and without consultation to employers that alot are struggling and bussinesses will fall down because employers were not given enough time and their are additional cost to them (accounting, and contribution) along with the additional holiday pay employers are paying out alot more and a re less likely to consider perks and pay rises.

- lets look at why so many people vote for the greens - they want to decrimilise pot and they care about the environment - yeah i get both causes - we are ALL aware of our need to look after and protect the environment and there are a tonne of government agencies doing so - as for the pot thing - Greens will take a long time to govern without the assistance of a bigger party (thats mmp for you) and none of the bigger parties will agree to support the decrimilisation of pot - so if thats why you wana vote green please think again. Really its a waste of a vote and that brings me to my other point....

---maybe you think that voting for a smaller party means that you are picking the lesser of evils i get that too and i think some of the little parties have fantastic ideals - but its voting for those parties that have let labour return. Smaller parties dont get to govern only buddy up with the governing team - so consider that when voting too. Consider who you would like to govern with who and where you vote would be best served.

- im not sure if national would do a better job but im not sure how worse it can get unfortunately due to labours generosity with refugees and imigrants they have a good chance of getting in - please if you they have benefited your own life in anyway let me know so i can take that into account when i vote on the day.

If you dont vote you have no right to an opinion - your vote is a privillage and you should embrace it and take it very seriously - every single one counts and yours does matter - evil prospers when good men(and woman) do nothing!

This quote is from Craig Emerson, Australian Minister of Small Business537 giorni fa

This quote is from an Australian Labor Minister and sums up in a nutshell where the NZ Labour goverment has gone wrong - they have got to go DON'T VOTE LABOUR

… "the role of policy makers is to allow the market to create prosperity and out of that prosperity to expand opportunity, not the welfare state. In the market democracy so fashioned, citizens enjoy freedom, self-fulfilment and sovereignty over the state, not subjugation to the state through financial and regulatory welfare" ...

A few thing to think about when voting National597 giorni fa

John Key is a weak leader. He used to have my support until he capitulated this weekend.

New Zealand needs a leader that will steer a straight course of tax cuts and privatisation and not flip flop around. John Key is a congenial person, but congeniality is of little importance if you can't make up your mind.

If you look for a truly free economy where services are privatised then ACT is the only viable option when considering who you will vote for this year.

Let's Laugh at Fuhrer Helen's Expense!!!657 giorni fa

Helen Clark and her driver were cruising along a country road one evening when an ancient cow loomed in front of the car. The driver tried to avoid it but couldn't -- the aged bovine was struck and killed. Helen told her driver to go up to the farmhouse and explain to the owners what had happened. She stayed in the car making phone calls to lobbyists.

About an hour later the driver staggered back to the car with his clothes in disarray. He was holding a half-empty bottle of expensive wine in one hand, a rare, huge cigar in the other, and was smiling happily, smeared with lipstick. "What happened to you?" asked Helen.
"Well", the driver replied, "the farmer gave me the cigar, his wife gave me the wine, and their beautiful twin daughters made mad passionate love to me!"
"My God, what did you tell them?" asked Helen.
The driver replied, "I just stepped inside the door and said, I'm Helen Clark's driver and I've just killed the old cow. The rest happened so fast I couldn't stop it!"
