V-Day Edinburgh is proud to be a participant in the 2008 V-Day Campaign. We have been granted the rights for a V-Day production of Eve Ensler’s award winning play “The Vagina Monologues”.

In 2007, V-Day happened in over 1087 venues around the world, with 2100 performances of “The Vagina Monologues.” In 2008 V-Day Edinburgh will be one of thousands of events around the world channelling their creative energy into making a difference as part of the V-Day Campaign. 2008 will mark the 10th anniversary of the global V-Day campaign. It is our intention to make V-Day Edinburgh 2008 a huge success.

V-Day Edinburgh is putting on a performance of “The Vagina Monologues” in the Bongo Club, Edinburgh. To become a part of this global movement and help say NO to violence against women and girls join us on stage with a monologue.

If your penis could talk, what 5 words would it say?

What do you call your penis, do you have a special name for it?

If your penis could get dressed, what would it wear?

If you Vagina could get dressed, what would it wear?

What do you call your Vagina, does it have a special name? Example, 'little coochi-snorcher'

If our Vagnia could speak, what 5 words would it say?

Share your Vagina moments with us......

Remember V-Day EDINBURGH will raise money for Women's Aid Scotland.
Here Is a little of what they can do with the money..........

£5 Could allow us to signpost up to 800 people online to safe refuge and help in our network of local services.

£10 could enable us to continue to protect up to 13 children in need already in refuge services across the country.

£50 could allow us to advise up to 10 professionals (including police, health and social workers) to help them protect those most at risk from violence at home.

£100 could allow us to help protect up to 16 abused women and children in need through our network of Women’s Aid services across the country.

£500 could be used to produce discrete safety cards with vital information on how to access help and support, to reach out to up to 5,000 women in need.

£1.5 million is needed this year in order to allow us to continue providing essential support and services to over 320,000 women and children living with domestic violence. Please help us in any way you can.
