 Tuesday 4th March 2007,The day when the face of the NFL changed forever. Brett Farve announced his retirement from the game to the surprise of most sports writers around the world, many ask why would he choose to retire now when he has a young team around him and a very good team at that, a team that got so close to the Superbowl and with a one of the best Defences in the league would be genuine contenders for the Superbowl in 2008-09 season. However he made this decision and I for one a Packer fan whilst sad at his leaving respects his decision and wishes him all the best, He will no doubt be an automatic lock in 5 years to the Hall of Fame and who could argue with that, he leaves with League records of: 5377 Completions, 61655 Passing Yards, 442 Touchdowns, 9 time Pro Bowler and 3 time MVP. In a sport where helmets are worn, Brett Farve has the most regenisable face in the history of the game, Payton Manning does a commercial and wears his Colts Jersey so people know its him, Brett Farve could walk down a street in Jeans and a T-shirt and everyone would no who he was. Writers talk about the common touch Farve has with people, and when you stop to think about that, his father passing away, his wife’s battle with cancer, the house that was destroyed by Katrina and his own personal addictions, there isn’t many people in the world that cant relate to these tragedies as they have happened to all of us and yet Brett Farve went out there every week and worked his butt off to get the win and make sure he did the best he could. My only hope is that he made this decision in March, Come July when Training camp is due to start he changes his mind a returns for one more year. But if not, Brett enjoy your retirement god knows no-one has earned it like you have #4 will always be remembered at Lambeau Field and around the world | |||

| Ok, ive deicided to come to the ever distressing and depressing matter of the miami dolphins. I am a fan but Tampa is only 10miles up the road so. plus they are doin so well. Tampa that is, not miami. I mean who are they kidding with a 1/4back with the name, Lemon? On top of that, they dont have a very hard division, in the AFC East. Dont include the patriots and they have a chance, at that. And on the subject of the Patriots, they were 15-1 and we were 1-15. WHAT!!?? What happened to the 72' dolphins, perfect season? cant the players remember that everytime they play as if to bring thier spirts up? But its completely socking and i am afraid that im goin north to...... the jets! Sorry miami but your crap! | |||

 listen idiot below me, im a giants fan from ireland but even im annoyed at yer stupidity, without favre yous wudnt have made it to the playoffs atall! he had one of the best seasons of his career, the stats show that, he made one misake you idiot, one pick that fell at the wrong time, its luck! Brady made way more game ruining mistakes in the superbowl than favre made in the nfc final but pats fans arent saying brady needs to go! give him respects, if all GB fans were as turncoat and unloyal as u he wudnt have stayed at gren bay so long, thats for sure...IDIOT!! | |||

| Surley now its time for Brett Farve to call it a day Yeah he had a great season but he also cost the pack a place in the Superbowl with the Pick he throw against the Giants. I'm a Packers fan and love watching him every week but i think the time has come to step aside and wait for the HOF to call | |||
