The Wake Wood430 days ago

After the success of Beyond the Rave earlier this year, we have now announced the start of production on The Wake Wood.

What are your thoughts on the news that Hammer is making its first horror film since 1976?!

Are you looking forward to it, or will it be a wash out? Better than Beyond the Rave?

We've just posted details about the Hammer Story 2nd edition in the blog.

The book has been substantially updated by Marcus including new text and imagery, and will also be available in a special limited edition leather-bound version.

This is THE authorised account of Hammer films, and should be on everyone's wanted list this year.

Favourite Hammer Film?854 days ago

With nearly 300 films in the Hammer catalogue its a tough choice, but everyone has one. What's your favourite Hammer film?

Maybe Dracula (1958) ? The film that made Christopher Lee a household name, and which has recently been restored by the BFI...

Quatermass and the Pit (1967)? The third of Hammer's popular Quatermass films, based on the BBC tv serial by Nigel Kneale...

One Million Years BC (1966)? Raquel Welch... Dinosaurs... bikinis?!

or quite possibly something else entirely...
