the butterfly project373 dni temu

The Butterfly Project has been created for self-harmers who feel they are ready to stop and need the motivation or support to do so. I found it on another support website and it was recommended to them by a members hypnotherapist who found this idea on an online blog and felt that it was a good idea that should be promoted as a distraction.

The idea is simple. The self-harmer simply draws a butterfly on their place(s) of self-harm and if the butterfly fades without them self-harming, it means it has lived and flown away, giving them a sense of achievement. Whereas if they do self-harm with the butterfly there; they will have to wash it off. If that does happen, they can start again by drawing a new one on or any design to be honest

A couple of people tried this and found out that pen washes off pretty quickly, so to make it last longer try starting with a caterpillar, when that washes off a cocoon, and then a butterfly!

Or for those of us who are just lazy and want to stick it on, try rub on tattoos, not just butterflies, but hearts, stars, tribal designs for the boys and more. There have also been a couple of people who write the names of their friends and family, so that when they feel the need to injure, they see the reminder that they are trying to stop not just for their loved ones, but for themselves. People also tried using song lyrics or quotes.

Anyway I just thought it was a simple and genius idea to help people in recovery

From our poll below it is evident that quite a few people would not be willing to see a doctor or councilor if they felt suicidal or depressed- why do you feel this is so and what and how do you think things need to change so that people would be willing to get help from professionals?

Bullying755 dni temu

Bullying: A subject that has affect the world since the seventeenth centuary. A subjact that has lasted over four hundred centuries. It's a subject that should be taken seriously, and not half-hearted. People suffer everyday because they're being bullied, wishing they didn't exist to be just an object of someone's cruel pleasure. They'd rather die then be a face of humilliation. Most of this horrific bullying goes on behind closed doors because people are too scared to get help, thinking that no on can help them. They feel alone and scared, like I did. Only last week, a young boy from a secondary school near where I live, hung himself with shoelaces in his bedroom because of bullying. This boy was a friend of my boyfriend's sister, Becky. Hearing on the news, and reading that in the paper hit me. Shocked me. Made me go into deep thought. Why should we have to tollerate that our own brotherhood do to us? Why do humans kill, rape and hurt each other? But we have the right, the right to go to people to help us. The right to end this suffering. The right to end our lives if we must. We can choose what do do, what to say. I, myself, have learned to forgive and forget. Not to react and go to someone who can help. I went to the police, and anyone out there who feels the same, who feels alone and threatened, can do the same. Think of Ben Vodden and what he did, and tell yourself, "what should I do".

Thank you. For proof, scan down and read:
