Princess Productions are developing a new documentary idea about
teenage girls that are expecting their first child and in a loving
relationship with the child's father.



The Programme hopes to go against the stereotypes of teen pregnancy
and reveal what its really like to be a young family unit. We hope to
film our couple through their pregnancy, the birth and then pay
monthly visits through the first year of their child's life.



The show aims to reveal the highs and lows of pregnancy, the joy of
becoming a parent for the first time and the excitement of watching
your child develop over the first year.

Mentorn television is making a second series of Underage and Pregnant for BBC Three, a documentary series following young mums-to-be through pregnancy, birth and having a baby. It’s about telling the real stories of teenagers who are pregnant and hearing about your experiences in your words.

We’re looking for a mix of teenage mums - and dads - from a variety of different backgrounds to feature in the series. If you’re 16 or under and pregnant or have recently given birth we’d really like to speak to you and hear your story.

Hey there,

I am currently working up a show for Channel 4 about young family units and I am looking to speak to young parents to be. The show will be a documentary aiming to break the stereotypes that surround young parents as well as following their journey. I was wondering if you knew of any young people that may be interested?

hey there guys, am a young 16 year old mum
well hear is my story well i actually dont know where to start.
well it was the 13th january 2009 when i found out i was pregnant i was so happy and scared at the same time didnt know what to do really , im a teen mum i though to myself everyone is going to be thinking am a slut (dont llike that word thats why its scored out) or something, my feelings was all over the place. i didnt think of anything at the time i was starting to get worried in the first place as my periods hadent came for starters then all of a sudden i started being sick in the morning a few days later i took a test and it came back postitive i wasnt sure if i was imagining thigs so i went to the sandyford clinic and they took another test it came back positive again, i was in shock i burst out into tears and had to make arrangments to go and get a scan to see if it was fertalising as am still only a teenager. i went down to the clinic on the 27th january 2009 and got my scan it showed that i was all ready 6 weeks into my pregnancy. i was so happy they gave me my scan to take with me , but then a few weeks laster i started to get serious pains in my belly. i started bleeding and then i relised i had misscarried. i had to go to the hospital to make sure that it all came away from me when i lost the baby. but trust me girls when you miss your periods take a test straight away to see if you are pregnant. im never going to know if it was a baby boy or girl i was going to have. if you want to chat then add me . my page is privet so i dont get fakes abusing me.
