 Derby are one of the candidates to host group games for the 2018 world cup if england are successful with their bid for the worlds largest sporting event other places hoping to host are Bristol city Everton Liverpool Arsenal Tottenham Man united Hull Mk Dons Florist Leicester Sunderland Newcastle Portsmouth Southampton Sheffield wed Sheffield utd Weeds united and others the grounds chosen must have a capacity of at least 40,000 so that would get pride park expanded to 44,000 and with the high attendances ,the easy and cheap expansion the great training facilities at moor farm the ground already hosting internationals (England vs Mexico) and the national training centre just down the road at burton its a hot favourite to get a place over clubs wanting brand new stadiums like notts florist which could be too costly and unachievable given their present status ENGLAND FOR 2018 !! | |||

| Best Home game: Man united Carling cup 1st round Best Away game : Plymouth away Best Away fans at Pride Park : Leeds (great numbers even tho i hate the bastards and they never shut up (even during the minutes silence tossers)) Worst Away fans at Pride Park : Wolves (shocking consdering their league leaders and even if they wer in relegation id be shocked) Best atmosphere at home : Forest Fa cup & league / Man united both cups / Sheff utd (first win) Worst Atmosphere at home : Lincoln 1st league cup game Best Atmosphere away : Sheffield Wenesdsay 3,500 derby fans/ Burnley lost 3-0 but had a laugh / Forest away both games Worst Away : Ipswich town | |||
