The Forgotten Petrova Doppelganger
My name is Робин Петрова or Robyn Petrova in English. I was born on the 22nd of June 1492 into Bulgarian nobility. My parents were Aleksandar and Ruhza Petrova. Yes I am a Petrova, you have probably heard of my lovely cousin, Katerina, my father and her father were brothers, and so begins my tale.
I was born two years after my cousin had given birth too a child out of wedlock and had been banished too England as punishment for the shame she had brought upon the family. That same year, a stranger appeared on my uncle's doorstep. As a noble, he welcomed the stranger, that had been a mistake.

- He killed them all. It was punishment towards Katerina for running away and ruining his plans. My mother who was a demon, managed to hide my father, my brother and me until the massacre was over, after all Klaus could not kill my mother. As the eldest brother had been killed my father became the Lord of the land we lived on. We were the only remaining Petrovas alive. As I grew my father began to notice the similarities between Katerina and myself and by the age of fourteen it was clear that I was a doppelganger. Another Petrova Doppelganger had been born into the family. In fear that the knowledge of another doppelganger had been born would bring Klaus back to his door, my father had me locked in the tower of our home that served as my bedroom. It was there I remained with little company, except for my mother until my seventeenth birthday. The night before my seventeenth birthday, my older brother, Kristoff tried to kill me. He had almost driven a knife through my heart when my mother stopped him. He claimed he wanted to maintain the Petrova honour by killing the doppelganger. Only my death would restore our family. The next day was the day that my father, who had planned a head, choose to sell me to Elijah, the elder brother of the vampire that had attempted to destroy my family. I was taken to Klaus as a gift, a way to appease him, a way of apologising for Elijah caring for Katerina.
I was kept in a room, the door locked, I knew they planned on sacrificing me to break the curse that bound Niklaus, but that was before he had a disagreement with his younger sister Rebekah. As a way to anger and frustrate her brother, Rebekah decided to turn me into a vampire. She brought a local boy to her room for me to feed from and thus I completed the transition. It was after I was turned that my mother managed to use her magic to save me and sent me to England to find Katerina who had taken the name Katherine. She had already become a vampire many years before and my mother begged for her to keep me alive well as alive as a vampire could be. My mortal life ended in 1509 and my immortal life began. However due to the fact that I had been half demon to begin with, I retained my humanity and thus could still be used to break the curse. It was then that my mother asked Katerina to protect me and to teach me how to survive. That was how I found myself in Mystic Falls in 1864. - 1864
- In 1864, Katherine and I settled in Mystic Falls, Virginia. Katherine had made it that we were Orphaned cousins from the fires of Atlanta and Giuseppe Salvatore took us in and gave us a place in his home. It was there that we met the Salvatore brothers. Of course my cousin had both brothers wrapped around her finger so entirely that both did her every wish and of course both brothers were infatuated with my older cousin. However Katherine only loved one brother and yet she played with both. They were her toys, she treated them the way she treated many other mortals before them. Due to being Identical to my cousin, I was often mistaken for Katerina, which I often enjoyed. It was the only way I could get Stefan, the younger Salvatore, to speak to me. Of course it angered Katherine when I pretended to be her but eventually the Salvatore brothers forced Katherine to choose between them. During my time in Mystic Falls, I befriended another vampire named Anna, she was the daughter of my cousin's friend Pearl. We were meant to enter the Founder's Day Pageant to compete for the title of Miss Mystic Falls. However that was before the "purge". It was during 1864 that Johnathan Gilbert and Guiseppe Salvatore led the town's people of Mystic Falls to trap and capture the vampires that "plagued" their town. We were meant to be trapped in a tomb under the old Fell's church but instead Katherine's servant - Emily Bennett - rescued me and Anna when Anna's mother - Pearl sacrificed herself. The next morning I discovered Guiseppe Salvatore had killed both his sons for trying to help Katherine. However they had died with Katherine's blood in their system and so they began the transformation. Stefan tried to return to his father but learned that it had been Guiseppe that had shot them. He had returned to tell his father goodbye but Guiseppe tried to kill him and in defence Stefan accidently killed his father and completed his transition. He pushed Damon to do the same thing and Damon killed a young girl - drained her dry.
I discovered in 1867 that Katherine too did not suffer the fate of being imprisoned in the tomb. She had made a deal with George Lockwood that had saved her life and faked her death. I didn't see her again for another eight years.
- Modern Day
- Due to the fact that I retained my humanity, I retained the ability to have children. In 2005 I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, although I wish the circumstances in which I had got pregnant had been of my own choosing. Despite being a vampire I am still vulnearable to certain things such as Vervain or wood. Despite how I got him I love my little boy more than my heart could ever imagine. I moved back to Mystic Falls in 2010, around the same time that my cousin decided to return to the town that had been our home. I went back to help protect my cousin's descendant, Elena Gilbert, to ensure she did not suffer the same fate that had befallen me and Katherine. I had to make the Salvatores trust me once more. They had never forgiven me for abandoning them the way Katherine had.
- The Originals
- Due to the fact that Niklaus had once tried to use me as a sacrifice, I feel little loyalty towards the Originals. The only Original I respect and have any sort of loyalty towards is Rebekah, this is due to the fact that she was the one who turned me and in effect saved my life. I never met Finn until he was awoken by Elijah and Kol had always been arrogant but due to the bond that Rebekah and Kol shared I showed him some loyalty. Despite my dislike of the Originals I am one of the vampires who actively try to keep them alive. The death of the Originals would result in the death of all vampires.
- Kristoff Petrova
- In addition to running for the last 500 years from the Originals, I have also been running from my older brother Kristoff Petrova. In 1511 he learned that Katerina had turned me when he caught up to our mother. Kristoff was also half demon due to our mother but when he was changed his demon side did not protect his humanity. No Kristoff's demonic side made him a more dangerous vampire - all his humanity was gone. However due to the fact he wanted to kill me when he was mortal, he wanted to kill me even more now that he was a vampire. He has spent the last 500 years hunting me. Although the Originals scare me more than anything ever could. My brother does scare me.

Robyn Petrova may have been a doppelganger but unlike her cousin Katherine or the latest Doppelganger, Elena, Robyn wasn't against Klaus like the others. Despite the fact when she had been mortal she had been his pet of sorts for an entire year before her mother had saved her and convinced Katherine to turn her, Klaus had compelled Robyn onto his side in 1865, a year after the purge of Mystic Falls. For the next 145 years she spent her time doing as she was told, once again being the Original's pet. The Original viewed her eternal servitude to him as punishment enough for her running like Katherine and spoiling his plans to use her in the ritual. The younger Petrova saw no flaw in her actions as she didn't even know she was being compelled. She was obedient and Klaus liked that - it was also the reason she was kept alive.

Now back in Mystic Falls, a town she had never wanted to enter ever again, she was a little impatient. Klaus, or Klaus in a mortal body, had forbidden her from hunting which made her a little moody, she wanted fresh blood not the pathetic bagged stuff. Why did they have to keep a low profile? The Salvatores knew they were in town.
She sat in the house that Klaus was currently residing in - a dead body lying not that far from her - reading one of the Gilbert Journals that the witches had stolen from the Gilbert girl. Somewhere in one of those journals lay the key to everything and Klaus wanted it. She knew she would be entering the mortal world via the high school soon enough, she had already learned how to fit in.

Late evening, when most people were sitting down to their suppers, a girl sat in the gardens of the Salvatore property. Her dark hair fell down her back, framing her pretty pale face and eyes almost as dark as her hair. The girl looked like she was seventeen years old, an age that meant she was meant to be looking for a husband to "protect" and look after her. However the girl's appearance was decieving. The young woman was in fact 372 years old due to the fact she was a vampire. Her name had once been Robyn Petrova but had become Robyn Pierce when her cousin had made it that they were orphaned cousins who had lost everything in the Great Atlanta Fires.

Her cousin had convinced an old gentleman to take them in and provide room in his home for both girls. Of course three months in a house where the owner had two adult sons, made life quite interesting for the Pierce cousins. Robyn detested the fact that with the simplest of actions, she had managed to wrap both brothers around her fingers which left them completely in her service. Which is why the young girl was sitting so close to the forest. She knew that the Salvatores would be expecting her at the table for Supper but she couldn't bring herself too move. Right as of the 5th of September I'm starting University studying Microbiology and Biotechnology and as I have an HND in Biological Sciences I am skipping the first two years and going straight into third year. Now I have recently found out that third year is Dissertation year so I don't know how often I will be able to get on so if I don't reply for ages I am not ignoring you or forgetting about you I will just be swamped

Oliver didn’t exactly expect her to answer him right away, not with those crazy men chasing after him. Oliver smiled a little once he was placed on the ground. He lifted his gaze and he nodded his head. “I thought so”, he commented. “I do believe you won’t hurt me, besides if you wanted to you would’ve back there”, he added, shoving his hands into his pockets. He headed up the small hill that was nearby; he sat himself down on the grass, hearing her question. He sighed, before turning his head towards. “They wanted to kill me and run experiments on me, they want to know how they can make themselves unable to die”, he explained, before he turned his head back to the sky, letting out a rather light sigh

I've been getting bleeding problems more often lately... ))
((It's finally stopped bleeding.. I put some tissue over it and wrapped my scarf around it tightly to slow the bleeding enough for it to start clotting.. I should be a medic.. I'm not even trained and i saved my brother from bleeding out when he was a kid.. I was ten at the time too. ))
((*hugs* I'll be ok.. Just fighting a loosing battle to keep my iron levels up.. Doesn't help that i have cuts from my cat that i forgot about, scratched my arm cause it was itchy and accidentally opened them up again.. It won't stop bleeding
