Ive decided to start keeping this blog up to date so people can check out what we are up to.
First of all id like to say that we have had a brilliant time in uist the last couple of weeks. A big thank you to the carnish inn and dark island for putting us up.
We did a dance for the kids which was immense so thank you to all the wee people that made it fun (everyone check out our wicked support band Ask Me Later)
Now, onto the future.
Our Debute album 'Edge of Reason' which was first recorded in 2000 has been remastered in Metropolis studios in London. Which is the same place as muse, u2, amy macdonald pendulum among many others get their mastering done. It sounds 10 times better and the artwork has also been redesigned for the new release. The first batch of edge of reason sold out quickly and it has been unavailable for many years.
We are currently recording a brand new album. We are hoping it will be out at the end of summer depending on how long we are away from home touring.
Talking about touring, we are doing a lot of fun stuff this summer.
First of all, Keith (vocals, keyboards) and DC(drummer) are playing at a T-break heat for dotjr (james reeves from our lunar activities). James is a good friend of ours and regularly records in our studio. If we get through then dotjr will be heading to t in the park!
As for face the west, there seems to be loads more in the pipeline. What has been definately confirmed in the heart of the summer is the Heb Celt Fest, then we are away to ireland to tory island for a festival, then back for barrafest.
Face the west will also be doing a tour at the end of may round the north east area check out the (waterfront nightclub in wick)
Also face the west will be doing their 1st gig in skye (long over due!) at the skye games in portree.
On top of all this Keiths solo project "Keith Morrison" and dotjr among other superb local bands are all going to "go north" festival in dundee. Thanks to honcho's never tiring support for local music. This opportunity was thanks entirely to their selfless efforts.

Hi everyone, we are just back from leverbourgh having failed to get onto the ferry.
We tried to book onto the ferry but it was fully booked, we went down to sit on the reserve list but we were the only ones that did not get a space on the ferry. It was the smaller ferry that normally does the eriskay to barra route which didnt help.
We then started our backup plan ,heading to Tarbert to get the 7.30 sailing to lochmaddy but that has been cancelled due to bad weather.
So sorry to all our fans that were coming to see us, but due to many factors joined together we are stuck here...ARGGGHH!!
please come and see us in the carnish next friday, and the dark island next saturday.
our apologies again to the carnish inn and anyone who was planning to see us tonight.
