- The name of my band, Eighth Plague, refers to the rise of the vampires in my second and third (unfinished) novels, "Nevermore" and "Neverworld". In the Biblical plagues of Egypt, the eighth was a swarm of locusts which devoured all of Egypt's food supply. In the Book of Gomorrah, a fictional apocryphal tome, passages omitted from the Book of Revelations reveal the natures of the Plagues of the Apocalypse, and the eighth is when vampires finally outnumber humankind to the point where both humans, and subsequently vampires, become extinct. The Eighth Plague is the Black Death of Armageddon.
