Diana Vickers was born in Lancashire and has been singing since the age of 11. She has had singing lessons and has always taken part in local competitions but she has never gigged and she has never done anything professionally. Diana is currently studying Theatre Studies, Classics and Psychology and her plan is to go to Drama School to study Musical Theatre.

Fame doesn’t bother her Diana, she just wants to be up there doing something that she loves and have people watch her perform. She feels like if she doesn’t do it now she will let her studies take over and she will go to university and never go for it.
Diana has a real passion for music and believes she has a quirky, different voice that she’s hoping the Judges and The X Factor viewers will like.

    Hey guys

    Well well,well…SATURDAY! Well I guess it didn’t go to bad seeing as though im still here and ready and raring for next week. It was a really eventful night. I was feeling dead nervous and probably drunk about 10 bottles of water to make sure I was on top form. Walking out into the crowd was so overwhelming, Its hard to find the words to describe that feeling. The energy from the crowd and seeing my family and friends sat in front of me made me feel that im not alone. The cheeky smile form cherly made me think ‘hey this isn’t so bad’.
    I loved being on the stage and I really gave you my all and I got really positive comments from the judges which im dead chuffed about.
    Once I came off stage all I wanted to do was get back on and I thankk you all sooo much for keeping me in its means the absolute world to me!
    Today im at the video shoot for our charity single heroes. ITS SO COOL! Im in a fancy dress and I have been all dolled up so its not so bad! In fact being in front of the camera is such a buzzzig feeling.

    Hi guys and gals! Wow, uits been such an overwhelming week! We’ve all just moved into the x factor house down in London and im having so much fun!
    Its been hard being away from home, but when I think about the live shows, being a little homesick seems nothing!
    This week we’ve all had makeovers, glamour shots, vocal coaching and choreography! So I had a real taste of what being a musician is like and im loving it!!!
    Cheryl is amazing with us girls. She is always here for us at any time of the day when we need her. Shes really helped me and its safe to say ‘THE GIRLS HAVE THE BEST JUDGE’!!!
    Anyway, thanks for supporting me, it means the world to me, honestly.

    Hope you all enjoy the first live show dudes!
