First State come to Edinburgh for the next Absolute @ Studio 24, Calton Road 15/08!

Absolute is Edinburgh’s most exciting underground Trance and Hard Dance night. Promoted by Gareth Binks, Paul Nisbet, Shaun Hope and Callum M.

The emphasis on the night is to stay fresh. We believe we offer the most upfront and fresh dance of its type in Edinburgh. We do our best to stay cheap and give everyone value for money and the opportunity to see forward thinking artists!

Absolute has been steadily growing thanks to the great people who come to support the night! Its massively appreciated.

We have had the likes of Mark Eg, Bart Claessen, Mac Zimms, Scott Mac, Paul Webster, Alex Kidd, Kuffdam, Simon Patterson, Jon Obir, Cosmic Gate, Sean Tyas & Mark Sherry on alongside the cream of new talent Scotland has to offer.

Already in 2008 we have given Edinburgh debuts to Paul Webster, Terry Ferminal, Bryan Kearney & Stoneface & Terminal.

Absolute are pleased to announce that we will be joining Gatecrasher, 3ehab and M8 magazine to help throw one of the biggest trance parties the capital has seen. Absolute with Matt Hardwick & JOOP - 18th July
Absolute welcome Matt Hardwick into Edinburgh with open arms! Long regarded as one of the countries/worlds best trance djs, we cant wait until Matt stamps his signature trance sound all over Studio 24! Joining Matt Hardwick is dutch dj/producer JOOP. JOOP is making his scottish debut with Absolute and we are delighted he has agreed to do so with us. JOOP has released on some of the strongest labels in the world and the now gone but never forgotten ID&T. Tracks such as "The Future" (Trance Energy theme tune 2007, "Act of God" & "Prominent" have seen JOOP take his place amongst the Dutch Elite. Support comes from Callum M - Shaun Hope - Gareth Binks. Well, the first half of the year is almost up. Sneak peep at the next few months with Absolute!
As we gear up for two of Edinburghs most exciting debuts in Stoneface & Terminal and Bryan Kearney, we are pleased to announce a second wave of fresh and exciting guests to Edinburgh in coming months. In no particular order; First State (Blackhole) will be making a Scottish Debut with us. JOOP (High Contrast/Trance Energy) will be making a Scottish Debut with us. Aly & Fila will be making their first appearance in Edinburgh with us. Marcus Schossow (Edinburgh debut) Pascal Feliz (Edinburgh debut) Paul Glazby (Vicious Circle) Matt Hardwick (Gatecrasher/Anjunabeats) Katana (Spinnin nl and all round leg-end) Bryan Kearney (again) (Discover Dark) All of the above will all be in town up until our bday just after the summer. by Callum Mullen Absolute bring another edinburgh debut in the form of Pascal Feliz, Pascal has been setting the trance and tech scene alight with dance floor rude boys like 'Platinum' and 'From inside the speaker'. Signed with High Contrast in Holland amongst the rest of the dutch elite, this is somebody you will no doubt see a lot more of in the coming months. Joining Pascal in Studio 24 is Paul Glazby. Paul needs little in the way of an introduction, from his massive "Fucking hostile" to the nasty filth released on Vicious Circle, Im sure you know what to expect.
