	The Hospital

	I woke up the other day in the hospital. A bouquet of white roses stood by my side in a glass vase. “Angel!” the name escaped from my mouth suddenly as my father stepped in the room. “Angel? Who’s Angel?” asked my dad with a sarcastic grin on his face. “No one, you brought those roses?” I asked. “You don’t like them? If you want I can ground your brother for buying them,” my father let out a little giggle. “Yah you should,” I said sarcastically. “You gave us a huge fright last night, what happened?” asked my father worriedly. “I don’t really know, I got very nervous and I started to feel sick,” I responded. My father sighed. We held a short conversation and then he went away. Later that morning the doctor came to see how I was and said that I could go home when I wanted. My brother came to pick me up at the hospital and he took me to McDonald for lunch. “Hey sis scared me yesterday, thought I would have to mow the lawn every weekend from now on!” he joked around. I gave him a light punch on the shoulder and both of us laughed.
