Admitted to hospital 2.30, discharged self at 7. Consultant spent 7 minutes discussing symptoms with me:
"You'll be dead before you're thirty." the doctor told me.
"Because of my blood pressure?"
"No. You're so annoying someone will have throttled you."
what a bedisde manner! Very vague about what was wrong with me, advising 'plenty of rest and recuperation'. Impossible. Inspection starts tomorrow.

INSPECTION DAY!
Persistant headache and nausea. Headmaster didn't look too pleased to see me - I suppose he is worried that I may collapse on the job and highlight the school's woefully inadequate first-aid process.
